Comparisons like this make no sense. You buy these kind of cars because of what they are not how they are. Everything said about the Camaro/Challenger is what I like about the cars, style over function. Just about any sport/muscle car has compromises. Go buy a M5/CTS-V/Jaguar XFR/E63 AMG/RS4/RS6 if you want speed and practcality, but if you just want some plain old cool shit that you and everyone else knows is cool choose any of these cars and you cant go wrong.

too bad people that buy muscle cars don't do it for practicality. The Camaro's interior is far sexier than the other two, so frankly I could care less if its a little smaller and harder to see out of. It's about being cool. The Stang's ok inside and out, the Challenger has the best exterior, but inside it's too generic

Ive got the Ford GT 2010 its fantastic fun to drive and sounds great. Been head to head with a friend in a Camaro and it was an easy win. though the Mustang is lighter and on the short course it may have played a part...still I'm a Mustang enthusiast soo I'm very biased

I have driven the Mustang GT and it really is what they say. It's nimble, lithe, muscly sound and great looking w/ the stripes and wheels.

And the interior is really well made with SYNC..

this is a decent review! i agree with many of the comments made... most of all... comments on the Challenger. it is the TRUEST retro muscle car, has the MOST USEABLE space. it's a competent road car... we bought the Challenger. with one kid left at home, we wanted a car that could handle 5 passengers. it doesnt let down. seats are comfy... interior is quiet... i LOVE it.

Some of you need to relize that loosing the visability part of the test doesn't mean you can't see out of the car or that you can't harness the power of the car... It just has less visability of the three cars. If you look at other reviews where people drive all three cars you'll hear that.

ya it is the top of the line camaro. but chevy decided to sell it for the same price as the gt. u can get an ss for 31k. these cars are tested by price, and with all the cars you get what u pay for, but you get more for your buck with the camaro.

Challenger: RT has the best gas mileage of these 3, same 1/4 mi QT as the mustang and better looking than either of the others. Look up the "motor trend camaro mustang challenger shootout" on youtube for those numbers. As for handling - I'll worry about that when I suddenly find myself surrounded by Camaros while slaloming through the Swiss Alps.

Otherwise, see you bitches at the stoplight. I've already shut down plenty of late model Mustangs in my RT.

yeah, it is said that the challanger like most of the other cars in this vid were Muscle cars around 35-40 years ago and Dodge tried to re-create that. Their sacrifice made it a sitting duck when it comes to handleing. Muscle cars are made for that .4mi. Long bolt. lol. I don't think it will be long until we see vids of a challenger hacked up to corner like something comperable to a Nissan 350 or 370 Z. lol. I agree though.

I think the Mustang is the best car. The 2010 model is the sixth year of this design, so Ford has had time to improve and refine it.

The Camaro interior seems awful. Putting gauges in the console is unique, but outdated. Gauges go in the dash so they can be read at a glance. The outside looks good, though.

The Challenger looks great, but it is the biggest and heaviest. It will use the most gas. Chrysler did a great job of bringing back the look of the musclecar era.

Well 0-60 times between the 3 cars aren't that much different:

Camaro 4.6 sec.

Mustang 4.8 sec.

Challenger 4.6 sec.

But the handling between the three is different:

Camaro: More sports car oriented, but the visibility is bad so it takes away from that aspect of it.

Mustang: Sports car oriented (More so with the Track-Pack), but the visibility is actually good.

Challenger: More of a cruiser type car with more lazy handling.

True, car guys don't but these cars are outsold at least two to one by the entry level V-6 models that look sporty but are daily drivers and usually to women. The mustang has been the comfort leader and lagging in horspower since the redesign in '94 and yet it is still here and the sales leader. The much faster and less comfortable last gen camaro's aren't read into that what you will.
