@philateliceun If you practice properly and consistently, it will come. The only difference between the greats and us is that they had better habits. Talent only takes you so far. Most "talented" people give up when things get challenging. It's the drive and the ability to practice the right things at the right time that makes the difference in the end. :)

Yeah i know i respect her very much ,it s normal to make that type of music because not everyone is a musician and know the mechanics involved in making an album she made a good choice though because if she had made an avant-garde electro jazz type album she would nt be knowned as she is now BUT when she will someday be more aware of other types of music and be more financially comfortable, she would risk to do something out of the norm without going broke

The 2007 Crossroads had lots of younger talent and old talent but the Jeff Beck set with Tal was amazing, not just musiclly, but for the respect and enjoyment that was on Jeff's face as he watched this young lady play. Good choice Jeff! How about doing a CD with her... huh?

I was at Crossroads '07. Jeff unbelievable. But all eyes were also glued on (Tal), for obvious reasons. Immediate impression was wow, who's that? Hold the camera on her. Now that's a beautiful girl I thought! Not trying to be. Very natural, jeans, tshirt, so young, guitar almost as big as she, hands flying precisely at lightning speed making beautiful music, & seemingly little effort! Hope greats like E.C., Meyer notice her.  If she could sing, that would be even better. Best of luck Tal.

Tal blows my mind. She is AMAZINGLY talented! My dad and I were listening to her play "Angel Footsteps" with Jeff Beck during the Crossroads concert here on youtube recently and she left us both drooling. Ha!

I've played the base for 30 years, switching from cello in 1980. I've played rock, pop, metal, jazz, fusion, classical etc. But compared to Tal I'm a bloody amateur.

Is she one of the best? I think so. She has a unique sence for rythm and melody. That is what it takes to be a good musician.

Beck, Corea, etc that played with her are not that bad. They are top musicians. Just look them up if you need to. If they hired her there is a reason for it.

A good player can sound good on lesser instruments. I have 2 fretless basses. A cheap Squire Jazz and a much more expensive Spector 5 string. The cheap one plays and sounds just fine thank you. I also owned a rather expensive Gibson for 34 years. I liked playing the Squire more.
