Thank you Regi...The spirit abides in me..but alongside the anointing;is your personality..what makes you unique'what God has given you...I love Jazz music..so of course im gonna take from Sarah Vaughn, Al Jeareau, KIM BURRELL...not exactly copy them..but God is calling for real people...all yall crucifying me for what I do...my bible tells me judge ye not less ye be judged and the same measured unto you...get ya life together...win some souls for christ instead trying to tare me down....

Yes you have to be yourself but Karen, Donnie, and Kim all had to listen to someone before them. I feel you theonetheonly. I actually think your ministry should be enteraining. I don't want to hear someone make a hot mess. Your ministering should be practiced. Doesn't the Bible mention something about playing SKILLFULLY? The annointing is great, but annointing with skill is unstoppable.

Taylor...I don't think you're understanding me...The anointing is the only thing that will last, but at the same time, we have to study to perfect and master our crafts...FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD...You can lean and depend on God..and yes, runs and riffs without God is pointless is ministry..but I still say that studying the word and perfecting your craft is the best way...Kim Burrell didn't go to Berkeley to waste time..she went to study!

Yeah, I didn't say he was wrong...everyone needs to find their own identity...but sometimes studying others help you do that...take a lil here...take a lil there....seek God through praying and fasting...having a prayer life and time with God..and then God will reveal what he has for you...It's not as serious as people make it...get a ladder and climb out that hole, cuz some of yall are being too deep!

Sorry brutha (theonetheonlyJr) but you might need a ladder man. I thank God for the gifts, crafts, talents, strengths that he has given us. But ONLY THE ANNOINTING will last. So with all gifts/talents set aside i will only depend on GOD alone to perfect my craft and not a recording artist. Jesus the solid rock only that which i will stand. All other ground is sinking sand.

Its ok to study other singers to get better in your craft...some of us are finding ourselves and our craft...the saintz are so deep..if being influenced by someone was a sin..then even Kim is guilty because alot of the things she does is a mixture of Ella Fitzgerald and Stevie Wonder. She is ANOINTED, of course...and remember Judge ye not less ye be judged and the same measured unto you!

What you're saying (theonetheonlyJr) may be true to an extent, but that is the problem in music today. Everyone sounds like everyone else. Most of the singers now suffer from Identity crisis. They're so busy trying to sound like Kim, Donnie, Karen, etc.... We have those artists already.

(Sorry needed 2 continue)Realize that being yourself is a blessing to others. I want to hear your sound. Lastly (Taylormadeexotic) was very right. We are so busy trying to perfect our craft by studying every riff, run, & musical note. But what we always fail to study is the anointing. If God is not honored, nor glorified when you minister then all you are doing is entertaining. And you might as well sing secular if you're gonna entertain. Bottom Line!!!

Some of u need to listen to the annointing in her voice and the words she's saying b/c alot of u got it twisted. While some of u are studying her runs/riffs, and the way she plays, realize no matter how close u come 2 her it will not last b/c you're not doing it for Christ. Let God reveal the style and annointing He has for YOU. Most of u will continue no further than your showcases on youtube b/c only what you do for Christ will last

pay close on attention to her pronunciation....it helps her with her accuracy and creativity..and she slides from note to note....she does different jazz scales....ima get it one day...seeing things like this make me wanna practice

Yall Watch her...she thinks on her feet...kim doesn't run that much....she is clean..and the way she plays is obviously the way she sings....I have heard her do a run on the keyboard and do it backward with her voice...she is so cold!

I would personally love to no who cut this clip at the end, especially during a riff of all times...somebody trippin. It should be a capitol offense to cut a Kim Burrell clip. But thanks for posting she's crazy.
