actually it's weird - when he's running downhill or trying to break into the open, he looks like terrell davis with the cutting and the breaking of tackles, but once in the open field and he opens up his stride he looks like adrian peterson in the way he reverses field to cutback against the pursuit and even how his head bobs while he's sprinting. either way, it's a great combination

He can play kick/punt returner, running back, or slot receiver( a little small to play wide receiver, only 6 foot 196, but hey look at Steve smith). I don' t know the guy personally and maybe he does have issues, hopefully he gets his head in the game because he has serious talent... avg 6.7 ypc in his freshman year.

Think about it......who declares early with only 450 yds rushing in their junior season. My running back was way better than him. Not as fast but much more productive. Mike had bright spots but never stayed consistent. I hope he gets his priorities straight and makes the league.

what a waste of talent. Never even had a 1000 yard rushing season. His last season in 10 games he played in he had only 800 yds of total offense. In ten games that sucks for someone that talented. And before yall go defending him and all that, I know him and i know people that know why he never panned out so just save it. Lastly, he's declaring early because his academics sucked. He would have been ineligible and he didn't get along with the new or old coaching staff. Just a shame

Though he'll prolly be converted, Id like to give this kid a shot at RB just to let him prove himself at the next level, even though he wouldn't get to much pt but you know Foxy likes to run the ball, maybe we do it more this year? O Boy', its allGood'son. My only problem is to really execute his ability, who are we going to have with him runnin the option. I dont think Jake can get out there. We have to use him how he was in college. I smell and wild(Panther) cat offense. Hav DWill runnin the option w/ Goodson and see what you get. ok i ain gonna lie at first i waz pissed as hell when we got this guy, cause i wuda liked if we got a QB like Graham Harrel or parker Wilson on the team instead and i thought we waz set at the run but after this highlight i must say we hav a Barry Sanders Jr on our squad and im really diggin this guy and now we got a 3rd threat at the run like NY and Cowboys, but i like his weight even tho hes small but hes quick and can b like Warrick Dunn, so all in all glad ur on my team Goodson..gud luck

Dude, it's going to be tough as hell for us this year. NFC and AFC East. With Jake at QB he has to prove he's strong still and I just want to know we have a strong DLine and secondary. We're set in the backfield. Goodson will likely compete for #5 WR spot/Return duties.

Welcome to Carolina, Mikey! Huge pick by the panthers. Goodson is an explosive player who can be a triple threat player for Carolina. He can play kick/punt returner, running back, or slot receiver( a little small to play wide receiver, only 6 foot 196, but hey look at Steve smith). not too many smart panthers fans on youtube apparently. he can play slot WR (which is a need) and is an explosive KR (which is a need with Jones gone) and fills the hole goings left. oh, and i could see him getting 4-5 snaps in the wildcat per game. great value pick for potential. OL depth can be filled in the rest of the draft i'm sure.

College stats don't mean shit... he was in a shitty offense with a pathetic qb and a team that didn't use him right.... he avg over 4 yards a carry... only had 94 carries for some reason.. 8 tds and 37 catches... shows good hands and could be like a westbrook or slaton.. I don' t know the guy personally and maybe he does have issues, hopefully he gets his head in the game because he has serious talent... avg 6.7 ypc in his freshman year.

Freedomfighter ur absolutely right in the fact that stats are often meaningless and a crock of shit half the time. Yes physically he's the most gifted athlete I've ever had the pleasure to play with and that includes players from my team. However, his whole family is genetic freaks, but all have some intangible problems. Oh and kyledaboyd, I apologize from earlier but I felt you were being disrespectful. Think about it......who declares early with only 450 yds rushing in their junior season. My running back was way better than him. Not as fast but much more productive. Mike had bright spots but never stayed consistent. I hope he gets his priorities straight and makes the league.

Yeah i played h.s. ball with him and he was a great kid....very humble and that kind of stuff. There was a few of us that went on to play D-1 ball and somewhere along the recruitment process he lost who he was. He might make it pending his attitude. I hope he does.

what a waste of talent. Never even had a 1000 yard rushing season. His last season in 10 games he played in he had only 800 yds of total offense. In ten games that sucks for someone that talented. And before yall go defending him and all that, I know him and i know people that know why he never panned out so just save it. Lastly, he's declaring early because his academics sucked. He would have been ineligible and he didn't get along with the new or old coaching staff. Just a shame
