If your willing to spend $46K on an Audi S4 I would wait till December (2010) when the Infiniti G37-IPL series comes out. The Infiniti IPL-series is Infinitis version of the Benz AMG, BMW M-series and Audi S-line.The G37-IPL will have a 348 HP engine, better standards and a meaner look for around $47K-$50K

If you do a little research, you can find a lot about the reliability of Audi. I'm not saying Nissan is problem free but it has way less problems.

its not stiff at all the wheel is really light for such a heavy car but the shocks are really hard but not too hard even on the regular version not the S type the car is super fast when your using the sticktronic when you pull off from 40 miles on 5 thousand rpms to 60 in less then a second and it feels very similar to the pull of a ferrari 360

The words "german cars" and "electrical problems" have become synonymous. Lexus has consistently beaten BMW and Mercedes year after year in JD Power's ranking for both initial quality and long term dependability. BMW, the 2nd best selling luxury brand does still compete well but Mercedes has fallen considerably behind.
My cousin has a 2008 G37 Coupe which I've driven a few times and his has the 5 speed auto. The 2009 G37 sedan has the 7 speed auto. I'm not sure if they switched to the 7spd in the coupe for 09' I don't see why they wouldn't though.

The 2008 comes with a 5-speed. Since they reference that the sedan has the smaller 3.5l it's safe to assume they're talking about that perticular year.
My parents have both a 2003 G35 Sedan and a 2009 G37 sedan. I just got my permit so my parents are keeping me away from the infinitys. I don't like the seats or the suspension while riding in the G35. I get carsick in the front seat, and I don't get carsick in any other car. There is also little headroom in the back The G37 is a great car though. The G37 gets 19mpg when my mom drives it, and around 25mpg when my dad drives it.
I belief you can buy the Skyline on line and put on youself. But if what you said is true about it having 450hp, it be crazy. That an M3, IS-F, AMG fighter which Infiniti seriously need.

I've tested both this and the IS. This is much nicer. Perhaps the 335 is better handling, yet the G37 coupe is like $20K less fully loaded. Infiniti gives you the most bang for your buck by far. And I agree with a sportscar who cares about mpg unless you can afford a Tesla for $130K ;-).
The G37 is a way better car then the 370z. Its more refined and much higher quality interior/exterior design. Also the G37 looks better and is much easier put aftermarket parts on it... Trust me. My friend has a 370Z and says its a pain to put his aftermarket parts in it. I have a G37 and its sooooo easy to both find and install parts.
The G37 coupe and Nissan 370Z are virtually the same car, so I'm not sure how it would be more difficult to install aftermarket parts on the 370Z. And of course the G37 is going to be more refined, it's Nissan's luxury division. The 370Z is raw, edgy, and dynamically more a full-bred sports car than the luxury G37.
I love the G37 coupe, but I would still take the 370Z! And I agree, about the rear of the G looking very similiar to the Altima Coupe. Which is a great thing, because all three of those cars are very fucking sexy.

I'm assuming you're talking about the Genesis? Idk about the 4 cylinder turbo but the V6 beat the Infiniti in comparison test by being only slightly worse but much cheaper. The same way the G37 beat the BMW 335i. So I guess it all depends what you can afford and what exactly you're looking for. Personally, I'd take the G37 BUT I still think you made a really good choice.
Well the new Genesis coupe by hyundai is amazing they did a good job...my only complaint is the 2.0turbo version should have a little more power since it is turbo...

i compared this in a test drive, comparing it to the Lexus IS 08. Much BETTER, and not to mention.. Very quick. But if you want a quick luxurious buy then go for it. but if you want a timeless classic buy a Mercedes.

My parents bought mine for graduation so I'm not really paying the quotes, i wouldn't be able to tell you comparisons from a purchase to a lease. And depending on the 09 G37 model it varies through leases but my friends dad got the same one as mine except he has a Liquid platinum color and he leased the G37 journey package and he didn't put down 4,000 it was $3,000 with good credit and a 36 month lease for $430.00 every month and $399 the first month you pay.There is always negotiating a lease.
Sure, depending on the model you choose it all varies on the packages you purchase, a journey may be less compared to a AWD sports package. From what i know i help my parents with like $150.00 on insurance but overall even with my little input they pay around $970.00 every 6 months so i guess doing the math roughly between $1,600-$2,000 a year depending on the G37 model and the your insurance company.
Take in mind these insurance prices only apply to the G37 coupe base/Journey models, sports packages will be considerably higher , Infiniti sedans maybe around $2,500 a year on insurance, hope i could help.
I don't mean to offend anyone, especially G37 owners. I do like the G37S alot... I just think the previous G35 Coupe body style looks much better I.M.O ~I do like the G37's interior alot more though. IrishChris1979(in case my reply is not below yours): I got a loaded G35 coupe in '03, and I loved it. 4 years later, I drove an '07 G35 sedan as a service loaner, and I liked it even more - except for the back doors - interior was much nicer, more power (306 Vs 280) and the trans was much improved. When the '08 G37 coupe came out I pre-ordered one. I couldn't be happier - even more (330) HP, voice control/touch screen nav, 4WS, active CC, hard drive, backup camera... AND it looks better, too!

I've tested both this and the IS. This is much nicer. Perhaps the 335 is better handling, yet the G37 coupe is like $20K less fully loaded. Infiniti gives you the most bang for your buck by far. And I agree with a sportscar who cares about mpg unless you can afford a Tesla for $130K ;-).

The G37 is a way better car then the 370z. Its more refined and much higher quality interior/exterior design. Also the G37 looks better and is much easier put aftermarket parts on it... Trust me. My friend has a 370Z and says its a pain to put his aftermarket parts in it. I have a G37 and its sooooo easy to both find and install parts.

The G37 coupe and Nissan 370Z are virtually the same car, so I'm not sure how it would be more difficult to install aftermarket parts on the 370Z. And of course the G37 is going to be more refined, it's Nissan's luxury division. The 370Z is raw, edgy, and dynamically more a full-bred sports car than the luxury G37.

I love the G37 coupe, but I would still take the 370Z! And I agree, about the rear of the G looking very similiar to the Altima Coupe. Which is a great thing, because all three of those cars are very fucking sexy.

I'm assuming you're talking about the Genesis? Idk about the 4 cylinder turbo but the V6 beat the Infiniti in comparison test by being only slightly worse but much cheaper. The same way the G37 beat the BMW 335i. So I guess it all depends what you can afford and what exactly you're looking for. Personally, I'd take the G37 BUT I still think you made a really good choice.

Well the new Genesis coupe by hyundai is amazing they did a good job...my only complaint is the 2.0turbo version should have a little more power since it is turbo...

i compared this in a test drive, comparing it to the Lexus IS 08. Much BETTER, and not to mention.. Very quick. But if you want a quick luxurious buy then go for it. but if you want a timeless classic buy a Mercedes.

My parents bought mine for graduation so I'm not really paying the quotes, i wouldn't be able to tell you comparisons from a purchase to a lease. And depending on the 09 G37 model it varies through leases but my friends dad got the same one as mine except he has a Liquid platinum color and he leased the G37 journey package and he didn't put down 4,000 it was $3,000 with good credit and a 36 month lease for $430.00 every month and $399 the first month you pay.There is always negotiating a lease.

Sure, depending on the model you choose it all varies on the packages you purchase, a journey may be less compared to a AWD sports package. From what i know i help my parents with like $150.00 on insurance but overall even with my little input they pay around $970.00 every 6 months so i guess doing the math roughly between $1,600-$2,000 a year depending on the G37 model and the your insurance company.

Take in mind these insurance prices only apply to the G37 coupe base/Journey models, sports packages will be considerably higher , Infiniti sedans maybe around $2,500 a year on insurance, hope i could help.

I don't mean to offend anyone, especially G37 owners. I do like the G37S alot... I just think the previous G35 Coupe body style looks much better I.M.O ~I do like the G37's interior alot more though. Maybe I'm just not used to the G37 body style yet? Either way, their both awesome cars I wouldn't mind driving everyday. Nice review

IrishChris1979(in case my reply is not below yours): I got a loaded G35 coupe in '03, and I loved it. 4 years later, I drove an '07 G35 sedan as a service loaner, and I liked it even more - except for the back doors - interior was much nicer, more power (306 Vs 280) and the trans was much improved. When the '08 G37 coupe came out I pre-ordered one. I couldn't be happier - even more (330) HP, voice control/touch screen nav, 4WS, active CC, hard drive, backup camera... AND it looks better, too!

I think the G37 has a better front body due to the enhanced curves...but I do like the G35 back and spoiler more.

That is the silliest thing I've ever heard! The g37 rear view distinguishes if from all the other boring cars on the road...that includes the g35! The g37 is an absolute perfection!!!

Yeah, I love that car:) I get what you are saying besides looks and likes are always subjective. I totally disagree though that the back of g37 is similar to the Altima Coupe. G37 is round and refine, Altima is a bit chunkier...at least that's how it looks to me. Hope I don't offend anyone:)

My personal observation is that the G35 looks more like the new Altima Coupe, especially the headlights.
I used to prefer the G35 look but now the G37 grew onto me to the point that I'd never go back to the G35.
