It's called "The Curse of Ham" many early Christians taught this. It wasn't new doctrine that came from the Mormon church. Google it.

I'm sure I had an ancestor at some point in time who had slaves...I'm not proud of that. I don't think anyone deserved to be slaves but it happened. The calculations of the years going back are not clear, not even to the best Hebrew scholars, becuase the years are not clear from the time of the 2nd Temple. No one clearly knows.
Secondly, black skin was not a mark. There is nothing that you can show in the Bible that demonstrates black skin was the curse

There is no CURSE OF BLACK SKIN OR CURSE FROM THE PRIESTHOOD THE END TRY AGAIN!
