@Markunator The Dark Knight movie seemed to have lost some of the spirit what makes Batman 'Batman'. Where is the detective noir style and the villains having a unique quality to them? making the Dark Knight movie grounded in reality may have sacrificed some of it's qualities.

Oh, and Adam West as Batman for ALWAYS! Campy? Yes, but all of it's goofiness is what makes it the more enjoyable. I feel The Dark Knight came close to being a bit pretentious.
