  • @L3phili3Tjosh u have obviously never seen full metal jacket

  • @cavs608 Nah. I know what Ygdrasel was referring to (full metal jacket famous scene)... but Sandy is a girl, lolwut.

  • @L3phili3Tjosh

    Movie reference.

  • semper fi patrick...

  • 4 people couldn't get straightened out by the corps

  • I wish Sandy was in this scene. Then Squidward could be all:

"Holy dog shit. Texas? Only steers and queers come from Texas! And you don't look much like a steer to me so that kinda narrows it down. DO YOU SUCK DICKS?"

  • @Ygdrasel Sandy's a girl...

  • Patrick, why are you smuggling an apple?

I thought the core would help me straighten out my life, sir!

  • may i take ur hat sir

  • People should know that Corps is pronounced exactly like Core.

  • i wonder how many drum corps people are on here correcting the retards who cant spell lol

  • The Corp is pronounced like core not corpse.

  • Patrick is so exploitable.

  • its totally core.

  • @MrH2499 its corps dumb fuck

  • Full Metal Jacket much?

  • He's talking about the Eric Clapton song?

  • Hahahah, it's funny how Squidward wanted to say WHAT THE FUCK!

  • Clarification: Patrick is definitely saying "Corps." When it is said aloud it is pronounce "Core." This is a clear reference to the Marine Corps. And for anyone calling the new Spongebob gay, rap your head around this. Spongebob started as an adult cartoon on MTV and Patrick and Spongebob were gay lovers.

  • @CAJatt too bad that last part isn't true

  • @CAJatt I call BS on that last point

    Links or it didn't happen

  • @CAJatt Cool Story, Bro.

  • @TakashiMinamori Get out. NAO.

  • @L3phili3Tjosh

    He he..

  • @TakashiMinamori successful troll is successful.. lol

  • @TakashiMinamori really? O.o

  • @TakashiMinamori It's spelt CORPS and pronounced CORE... dumbass.

  • the new episodes' motto is I'M UGLY AND I'M PROUD TO BE ON TV.

  • B-b-but... they're obviously saying core...

  • Ha! This is my mom's favorite part XD

  • Hahaha halarious;p

  • Hehehehehehehehehehe........????????

  • red

  • HOO-RAH!

  • SEMPER FIDELIS!

  • "is this the core?

    No ...this is Patrick..."

  • @RealMusicJan Corps, it's a Latin derivative

  • @jetboy0220 yea but thts how you spell corps as in the Marine Corps look it up

  • HE SAYS CORE..... NOT CORPSE

  • @jetboy0220 Oh man... you are a fucking twat.

  • this needs to be a T-Shirt

  • the Marines needs Patrick

  • IM HERE FOR THE CROP SIR

  • Call of Duty, Pat Ops

  • I don't think we should just down the newer episodes (after 2003). I actually think you need to acquire them. I hated the new ones at first, but they're kind of funny in a different way, though obviously not nearly as worked on or genuine. And they're more computerized now than before 2003. But the're funny in a more slapstick way i guess. Well except for the BRAND new ones, like the 2011 ones, sorry those are just kind of dumb.

  • This was one of the greatest lines that Patrick ever said.

  • Laggy but nice high def

  • @LOLGmod My bad.

  • I dislike all the negativity towards new Spongebob episodes.

  • Thats what my friend thought as well, till he got a bullet to the knee (Insert Troll Face)

  • LOL A year ago, my friend said the exact same thing during drill exercises. My Commander was so confused, since we weren't Marines! I knew EXACTLY where he got it from :) Ahh, the good old days, I miss ROTC.

Former Cadet Petty Officer 2nd Class, NJROTC.

  • He should have said "Drill Instructor (Rank) (Name)

  • during an interview, Steven Hilberg said he got the idea after watching Full Metal Jacket prior to making this episode

  • Squidward: NOW LET ME SEE YOUR WAR FACE!

  • Look in the suggestions and you'll be face to face with a creepy ass squidward.

  • Well they are MARINE creatures!

    Wocka wocka wocka!!!

  • If this comment gets 1000 likes I will join the Marine Corps and say this when a drill sergant talks to me

  • @IamCaptainMan he'll probably backhand you when you call him a drill sergeant too, lol. They're called Drill Instructors in the Corps.

  • @SidesweptSymphony no doubt thats why I hope that comment doesn't reach 1000

  • just letting everyone know, you arent supposed to say "I thought the corps..." you are supposed to say "THIS RECRUIT thought the corps..." if you were to say I or Me at boot camp... you are gonna have a VERY bad day... I just thought this info might help someone someday

  • Damn.....I love the old spongebob episodes.....the new ones suck sooo bad

  • The show is still funny in the newer episodes. There are definitely some parts that are even dirtier than older episodes.

  • @fzeroracer623

I SO DISAGREE WITH THAT COMMENT

  • Is this a FMJ reference?

  • i believe he meant the marine core einstein .

  • it is pronounced core even though it's spelled corps

  • There's still some funny stuff in SpongeBob...nothing beats the hillenburg era though

  • I think the new episodes are just horrible. The comedy is too forced and it's just plain disgusting now.

  • @L3phili3Tjosh

i agree. some episodes are more like unfunny gross-out humor such as FUNGUS AMONG US, which was about some disgusting disease ick, and HOUSE FANCY where SpogneBob painfully breaks Squidward's toenail.

  • @TimeForFunGuy you`re right I felt like I would never get the toenail image out of my head... *gags*.

  • @300ilikepie

if i were stephen hillenburg i would fire the new writers and sue them for messing up SpongeBob and for the loss of SpongeBob's fans

  • @L3phili3Tjosh the problem is that there humor used to to be more multgenerational but now they really dont present a good show to the whole of there demographic

  • @L3phili3Tjosh I think it started to suck around 2005.

  • @L3phili3Tjosh Also the new episodes are just musicals now. They can't go two minutes without singing a song. I thought as the show progressed, it would become more sophisticated. It went the opposite way. :(

  • @L3phili3Tjosh

Not to mention the retarded facial expressions and trying to force in "lessons". That crap irritates me.

  • @L3phili3Tjosh Who put you on this planet? UGH.

  • @L3phili3Tjosh and the 24/7 laughter, and tbh spongebob seems kinda homo in the new ones

  • Herp derp, Corps is pronounced the same as you would core.

  • Best video of 2011.

  • Just go with it Squidward~

  • patrickstar got into the army lol lol lol lol ......

  • @ZFightercool12 Lol dude the Corps is the marines. not army. :3

  • And thumbs up if you think the best year was 2002

  • Who lives in a pinapple under the sea?!

    Spongebob Sqaure pants!

Who hasn't been funny since 2003?

    Spongebob sqaure pants! Rofl

  • @ChompyRSPS My favorite comment on any Spongebob video.

  • @ChompyRSPS 2003 wasn't terrible. Things started to really go down in 2005... But I can accept 2003 since you were trying to rhyme. =D

  • @videogameme123 thanks :D.

  • @ChompyRSPS Even though I love the new episodes as well, I'd still say that this comment is quite genius. Well done, bro.

  • @ChompyRSPS i think they are still kinda funny, not AS funny, though.

  • @ChompyRSPS fuck you keep it to yourself bitch die in hell

  • @unitedlegoman shut the hell up. UMAD BRO?

  • @ChompyRSPS

    actually it would be 2004

  • @TimeForFunGuy i was rhyiming.

  • @ChompyRSPS Okay that really isnt very funny nor was it true.

  • @ChompyRSPS I think it was 2004 after Spongebob Meets The Strangler & Pranks A Lot, or The Sponge Who Could Fly (whatever ended season)

  • @ChompyRSPS i think it was great until right after the movie. then there were about three alright ones.

  • @ChompyRSPS Actualy he started to suck in like 2010 I liked all the episodes till like now today.

  • @ChompyRSPS 2004 was good but the rest sucked.

  • @ChompyRSPS Copying and pasting comments

    SO funny.

  • the core not corps

  • @TheStroodlebob No, actually, it's corps. It's pronounced "Core", but it's spelled "Corps".

  • USMC <3 I LOVE YOU ~ Future marine :D

  • OMG THIS SLAPS ME ON THE KNEE!!!!!

  • thumbs up for our servicemen! :)

  • @dansvidco

Army is often used to mean "military". It's not that civilians don't know as much as it is that they don't care

  • Sweet Jesus... so many people that has affiliations with the military.

    :D

  • @dansvidco if it makes you feel any better, id be able to tell the difference =D

    wish my school had JROTC

  • thumbs up if u thought it said ''Ithought the crops(or corn) wud help me straighten up my life sir!!

  • if i get 100 likes i wil say this to my gym teacher

  • @dansvidco How do you confuse Marines for Army? The uniforms are completely different. I can understand the service ones, but not the dress ones.

I think civvies just think all military branches are the Army or something.

    Cadet Staff Sgt., AFJROTC

  • This was aired in 2001.

  • It's funny how he obviously said "The Core" as in war

  • Moments like these made seasons 1-3 brilliant.

  • How the corps straightens out your life:

    1. Join the army

    2. Take a bullet to the knee

    3. Get laid because of it

    4. Find out you have a son

    5. Raise him has a single father

    6. Eventually commit suicide

  • full metal jacket?

  • My life in 12 words

  • @Marylandbrony Or even better... say it in Latin to your Latin teacher.

  • patrick at 0:04 lol

  • oh man, i love spongebob, yeah the old was better, but spongebob is spongebob.

  • oorah

  • i'll answer this if any one ever ask me why i go to school

  • MAY I TAKE YOUR HAT SIR?

  • @mrghosty2010 Did that video get removed?

  • @mrghosty2010 You mean like a weenie? Okay.

  • @hippo550 It be French for "Body". Thus the Army corps is the Army body (fitting, as it is the largest part of the army).

  • Just look it up people. It's spelled Corps and pronounced core.

  • My JROTC teacher told me one time that, that word came from France and over here its pronounced core even though it's spell corp

  • K lets end the arguments between those that know what it is and those that think they know what it is. It is spelled Corps and it is pronounced "Core". Thank you have a good day.

  • I was in the JROTC for like 4 years lol
