My little sister and i look a lot alike. When I mentioned this to my sister in a harmless conversation she denied it and said that she wouldn't want to look like me. This happens a lot and it hurts. I understand what your saying but I just don't know how it will work while I'm surrounded with negative opinions. How do I tell them that it hurts? We did nothing to deserve His love, but He is love and He loves us so much. True love is the love that Jesus showed for you when He lived a crappy life, even though He is God. People create religions, and MANY society-based rules such as 'though must recycle", all to become proud of being the better, more-holy person. But my faith is the the one true God, who hates pride.

Why would judging by others should bother you? Unless you want to preserve certain image of yourself and that being ego construct is vain in nature.
Unless you stop fearing that you will look bad, ego wins and haters too. No amount of makeup,fitness or acting will make the bad feeling go away.
Approval seeking is futile and frustrating.
Stopping to care what others think, doesn't mean you should stop caring about yourself. Dress nice to bring beauty in peoples' grey days ;-)

@inspired girl...so right...my ex girlfriend was absolutely stunning...but she thought she was the ugliset girl on earth... People beat me up about my own looks for so long that I developed body dysmorphic disorder...then one day I realised that all those people were just redirecting their own insecurities.....the rule is...the more people who tell you how ugly you are, the prettier you are. Even then it is not about how you look. It's about how you perceive the world. confidence is attraction

I've needed a good confidence "boost" to help me feel better from all the anger, hurt and resentment I've held against people for awhile-and this made my day! You are absolutely right, u just have to be yourself and hold your head up high! I've learned that people who are rude, inconsiderate and downright mean are just reflecting how they feel about themselves on the inside. Be confident and don't care what jealous people think! Thank you for videos like this. It is an amazing idea for kids, teenagers and others alike, because we've all been there. But what matters the most is really to LOVE yourself and be HAPPY with yourself. Be your own best friend.
It may take a while to accomplish accepting yourself for who you are, because society pushes so much "body" image.
Truly beautiful people have inner beauty and keeping happy and taking care of yourself shows "SELF WORTH" RESPECT YOURSELF and others will too...

Self Esteem is those attribute that 's built long inside of you, they don't just changet due to temporary circumstances.
