  • My 13 week old is exactly like this, or she can sometimes get excited but apart from that shes an intelligent people loving dog

  • so cute!!! Don't let other comments get to you. To me the puppy doesn't look scare or anything. Maybe that's just how the puppy respond to you. I have a GSD and every time when i hug her she makes similar to this one too :-) so cute.

  • Dude get out of the dogs face. Let it sleep

  • So cute!!!

  • some people have waaaaaaaaay to much time on there hands....lol jk

  • The only thing i dont know is how to get my puppy to stay asleep at night so i can sleep...

Ruuza has finally gone to sleep but ive been up all night... :(... no sleep sucks the energy right out of u...:(

  • Based on your experience would you recommend me a male or a female GSD?

  • guy in the video, I hope that german shepherd bites your dick off one day

  • HOW CUTE! I just rescued a GSD over the summer!

  • i did the same thing to my dog's and i t was past their bed times.. she is beauitful

  • now we know what Heidi wants: run away (spoiler!)

  • Look At Those K-9's

  • That was one video on how not to play with a puppy. It looked bad, not allowing the puppy even the freedom to use its front legs, never mind keeping it on its back.

It just looked a little cruel. Sorry.

  • So cuuute~ I have a GSD myself and I adore them so much. *u* this pup makes the funniest noise. It's quite adorable.

  • reminds me of Riley when he was a puppy...

  • Mine is about 1 month old:) She's adorable:) your puppy is so cute too! Grrr.squeak! :)

  • we have a german shepherd.....u can see she has the needle teeth here hated them :( good thing is they don't cast much unless in season beautiful puppy very lucky :)

  • To cute!! and people grow up he aint hurting her... german shepherds are very vocal when they are playing. jeez

  • awww that is to cute

  • If the pup really didnt like it you would definably know lol they just playing :) anyways I love your puppy! I had a king shepherd for 6 years when I was a baby he would guard me and wouldn't let my dad pick me up lol he didn't like guys very much but he loved girls and kids :) miss him -\3

  • hey u dont be mean to her meany

  • The puppy obviously doesn't like what you're doing you fucking prick. Leave it alone.

  • @XxSteevo93xX Shut up you idiot!! the puppy is fine! she is PLAYING.. clearly you dont no anything about dogs!! this is coming from someone with 3 dogs one of them being a very vocal german shepherd. take your opinions elsewere.

  • Comment removed

  • this was hystarical!

  • Why are people leaving bad comments? They are obviously not abusing the dog. All he is doing is kissing her. She's fine.

  • How old?

  • what the fuck r u doin to that poor puppy whata shitty ass owner

  • @milad9ronaldo Shut up. Its called playing.. dugh

  • I think she was scared :( No offense but puppies r kinda fragile, maybe u should b more careful... THIS COMMENT WAS NOT MEANT B MEAN OF ANYTHING its just how I saw it! I'm sorry if this offends u! :(

  • @Wolftimber101 That's fine. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

  • @Wolftimber101

the puppy would be growling or at least try to bite back if the puppy was scare. The puppy knows she is being loved.

  • Does she leave alot of hairs on the bed

  • @TheGradumate No. She does shed a lot, but as long as I brush her then it's fine.

  • Thank you all for your comments. Heidi is an awesome dog and has zero problems with aggression or behavior. She is a very happy dog and enjoys her life with her buddy, Rusty, the Golden Retriever. Trust me when I say Heidi is far from abused. She is an indoor dog who enjoys playing soccer and performing obedience & agility.

NOTE: If you don't know anything about dogs or have never owned a dog, feel free to NOT comment.

  • @edwardsl1207 I had a GSD when I was young and I can tell you none of the sounds she makes in this whole video indicates any sort of frustration. Screw all the naysayers, great job!

  • @edwardsl1207 yeah..i dont just own a dog....wellshes a puppy but i know alot of stuff about dogs... im dubbed the "dog know it all" by my sisters and a few friends... dogs rule!!

  • Very cute dog. Take a look at my video with my German Shepherd. He's about a year older from my video and they are amazing pets. I'm so glad and forever will be a GSP fan. The clip is short but shows his trick. He's got many more but this is a first video for me. Thanks for posting yours on this wonderful family.

  • Dude c'mon ur scaring it (lol good one)

  • Why is that all these ignorant, self-righteous, wannabe animal rights activists always come on here & troll everyone's pet videos?

  • @KleWdSide Correct, there are plenty of those out there. But also realize that many comments you see are also from some very experienced trainers & handlers that deal with common behavior problems on a daily basis. Some (some) folks offering notes of caution regarding tell-tale behaviors do have their hearts in the right place.

Every dog is different - and I don't see anything too alarming in this video, as long as this behavior isn't consistent (and from the author's notes above, it is not).

  • Wow some of these comments are just stupid. They don't know the difference between playing and abuse. Ugh I feel sorry for their dogs, they probably keep them in plastic bubbles.

    But cute puppy =D

  • She knows she loves it! Adorable. I want a GSD so bad.

  • LOL all good untill he falls off the bed

  • i would die for this puppy it is so cute XD

    awww

  • So what would you have done if the puppy had bitten you? To be honest it would have been deserved!

  • This video is just too cute.

  • cuteness...OVERLOAD...must..abort

  • Imagne havinng a girlfriend like this...."give me a kiss"....."ewwwww get off me".....ha ha Heidi s adorable,she s gonna have a great life.Cheers.

  • Clearly the both of you are terrible owners who have no idea how to handle a puppy. You should send her to me RIGHT THIS INSTANT all 80lbs of her.

p.s in the even that you realize that I indeed just want to steal her from you and have thus decided not to send her to me I hope you get to enjoy her for a very long (though always too short) healthy happy life.

    She is Friggin' adorable.

    ....

  • I remember when my puppy use to do that to me too when I tried to cuddle with him. =) He's about 5months now and he loves being spoiled.

  • Heidi update:

Heidi is now huge! At 1 1/2 years she still has another year and a half left to grow and fill out, but she already weighs over 80 lbs. She does numerous tricks and is very loyal and obedient. I will try to post another video soon!

  • @kierst7leland Also focus on what things trigger the behavior, and test your dog with them. If he passes and doesn't show agression praise him with a treat and be very enthusiastic clapping and saying "good boy!" Then eventually, what triggered the bad behavior before, could ultimately turn into something your dog can deal with in a positive manner. Good luck:)

  • @Jshepherd904 thanks, we have been trying this a lot. In most cases it works really well but food is still pretty bad. He gets very nervous with people around so we are trying to give him a bit more space so that he can learn to relax when eating.

  • I have a 2.5 year old male shepherd and first off he needs to know that you are the alpha dog. When my pup was younger and he would show a sign of agression i would immediately(not more than a half second later say NO!) if he would persist i would put him in time out which was the bathroom for a couple minutes. It was seldom that he showed this behavior but i after a few time when i said NO he knew what time it was..lol

  • "Please no!! im still only on first base!! D: RAPE RAPE!! RAAPEE!!!

  • As a proud GSD owner and lontime enthusiast of the breed, I can tell you that from my personal experience (including my present dog at 2yrs), this is a puppy in content. His/Her behavior is identical to that of which me and my dog shared as a pup. He loved, and still does. We still perform the same ritual off and on throughout the the day. They express pleasure throw low-growling moans, mouthing, and pawing. How is his behavior? Absolutely perfect (with training of course)

  • stop torturing that poor dog u fuckin asshole she doesnt like that

  • @flavoroflove5 Shut up, twat. If you don't play with a dog or harmlessly tease them every once in a while, they'll grow to have no personality & be obnoxiously needy.

  • @KleWdSide u know wat? ur right. im gonna go kick and choke my dogs now. thanks bro

  • @flavoroflove5 Yeah, since this video contains such terrible abuse. Good luck raising your pussy, neurotic dogs!

  • I agree with the other individuals. I have had Shepherds all my life and while this is cute currently he is testing your ability to be a pack leader. This does need to be addressed soon or yu will have behavioral issues with your cute puppy as a adult GSD.

  • Wow. Your boyfriend is being a real dick to your dog there. Does he treat you the same way (not paying any attention at all to the signals he is being given)?

  • Soooooo cuuuuuuute ,-))))

  • it can be confused with early aggression but in my eyes it just isn't. She's just being toothy and mouthy. I once had a GSD who was very clearly aggressive even at that age. He snarled when placed on his back. He was very nasty. This little raggamuffin looks like a shark-toothed darling.

  • She's very cute. However....I hope you finally realized that her behavior or showing her teeth at that age is an early indicator of aggressive behavior. As a GSD owner, this tape bothers me.

  • If you read the comment I posted about a month ago, you would know that I have raised a happy, healthy, stable GSD. I pride myself in being very knowledgeable when it comes to dogs. I have shelves of literature on dog behavior, psychology, and training. I worked very hard with my dogs to assure they would be well socialized and stable. Heidi goes to the dog park frequently and has even been to an Astros baseball game. She has never shown aggressive behavior towards anyone..@jeffspacht

  • @edwardsl1207 If you were educated towards GSD's you would listen to the comment above. Your the reason why dogs when they become older bite children and other animals. You growled at the puppy, then played biting his neck, held it down, and then said "good girl" at the end. What do you think you just taught the dog?

  • @m25746793 *rolls eyes*

  • @jeffspacht Read my comment as a reply, your absolutely right. Some people are just clueless.

  • @m25746793 it's not a big deal, stop looking too deeply into things.

  • @jeffspacht I have had my face 3" ffrrom a purebread Canadian Tundra wolfs gaping, snarling maw, with 2" canines, but I still have my face because he was playing and I knew it. While her showing of teeth isn't neccesarily a good sign, the sound she was making was in part submissive, which means with proper training she will not be a threat to people.

  • @jeffspacht omg really my gsd was like that n now shes 3 months n shes so big n whenever i do that she showing her teeth n try to bite me idk how i should teach her to stop

  • @jeffspacht calm the fuck down. im sure they love the dog and the dog loves them..

  • @GiraffesMH You're absolutely right! We love our dogs so much and I would do anything for Heidi. She's the best dog I've ever owned. Just wish she had a longer lifespan....

  • @edwardsl1207 if your dog didn't like what you were doing she would have definitely caused some damage with those chompers lol. she loves you guys so much that she'll deal with it :D

  • @jeffspacht calm the fuck down. im sure they love the dog and the dog loves them.. and the puppy didnt even try to bite

  • @jeffspacht Our dog used to bare his teeth at a young age like this as we played, but he always had been a big softie, and he died as a big softie who only showed aggression toward people who hit or pushed his owners -- in the form of a stiff bark and a low growl. I think it depends on the dog and the owner, how they behave when they grow up. I hope this clip doesn't bother you so much anymore. :)

  • @jeffspacht How is the dog bearing it's teeth? You can see the teeth because the dog is opening it's mouth. It isn't bearing it's teeth per se. Do you expect the dog to open it's mouth and somehow not show any teeth. Its crazy how some GSD owners will jump up and claim "your dog is aggressive" everytime they see a clip with some teeth showing. Relax and chill out.

  • @jeffspacht oh please, its just playing. i did this sort of thing with both my gsd's and they are both sensible, loving, gentle dogs.

  • you should put more vids of heidi

  • She's a beauty !! what a great girl !!

  • When we got Heidi she was incredibly dominant for a puppy. I had to work with her constantly to help her understand that we was not the alpha! It's crazy looking back at this video bc now she is a well-mannered, balanced and happy dog!

  • @edwardsl1207 i think im mistaken... shouldnt this video have like... 500 k at least

  • @edwardsl1207 what did you do?! I have raised a german shepherd in the past who is now a perfect dog that has never shown any signs of aggression. Now I have an 8 month old now who is so dominant and displays a lot of aggression. I have tried EVERYTHING. Any tips in particular that worked for you?

  • @kierst7leland German Shepherd's can be tough dogs to raise. You absolutely have to let the dog know that you are the alpha. An easy way to do this when they are young is to turn them over on their back and hold them there. Don't let them get up until they are calm and have accepted the fact that you have control over them. This technique has been recommended by many ppl, including my own vet, Cesar Milan, friends, and other trainers.

  • @edwardsl1207 thanks for the tips. My dog has calmed down a lot. We had him neutered a month ago and that has helped considerably. Before, when I used to try to turn him onto his back and hold him, it took about half an hour for him to submit. Now he calms down a lot more quickly and he stays calm afterwards. He is also a lot better about other things like letting me go out of a door first, whereas before I had to force him to let me. Hopefully he continues to improve with age. Thanks again

  • Oh such a cute reaction. I bet he's strong and heathy by now.

  • Beautiful GSD!

she's probably being grouchy because she's in a submissive position, on her back. This is actually pretty close to a dominance excersise to help puppies learn their place in the pack.. and GSD's learn quickly! (just not quietly!! :)

  • i think its telling you to fuck off

  • @Tubs1010 hahaha your right!

  • That is adorable!

  • hes being grocy beacuase hes tiresd

  • Aww...He's such a cutie!
