I'm a lucky charm who happened to own some Ducs (916-999-1098 2x) and now the rc8. The Duc (1098) is more exciting, more alive & aggressive, gifted w a unique sound (open Termi exhaust+open clutch=music maestro!). However if you're tall (>187cm) and more "moderate" (old) the rc8 will definitely welcome you with more respect. Adapt it's great WP supension to your needs and enjoy the long deep roar while smoothly accelerating. Different, friendlier but very enjoyable.

tested the ducati and it's f#¤%ing fantastic. to all those people saying it's not have no appreciation for a qaulity bike. also had a go of the ktm and for a track ye i can see it's propose but other wise it's ugly, slow to flick side to side, it has power but not delivered good enough and on top of all that it burns your legs cose it gets so bloody hot!! the one thing i'll give the ktm is the under body exhaust.

but ducati is an old company and the quality shows!!
