Fire Fox is soooooooo faster than explorer !!!! When i had explorer , it took 10 second to start internet to my default page , now it takes 1 second !!!!!!!!

OK, i am using windows and the new firefox 3.5, and it sucks, I mean it's either the flash player or firefox, but somehow they can't do proper multitasking if you put like 10-15 videos on the web embedded flash player and it starts lagging like shit, earlier I would put up more than 30 flash videos at the same time paused and when i ran everything worked fine, so this new firefox, or the new flash player is worse.

I had the same problem at first. You can try 2 things. Restart your computer or download a new web browser.

Always loved Firefox, but 3.5 sucks!

Technical specificasions are less important since NO BROWSER is anywhere near intelligece.

3.5's design stinks, pushing the content lower than Explorer.

"Smart brower" means less conflicts with the page (see IE's bright blue screwing page's color pallete), and less smart-but-soon-forgotten options.

That's perfect design, and the challenge to build in the neccessary utilities while keeping the brain working unseen, as if not there...

Older version took 20 seconds to open. 3.5 opens in two seconds. 1 week down the road and no crashes. Awesome version. 3 gig Intel Duo core processor, 3 gig ram, Windows XP.

We are only talking a fraction of a few seconds difference between the speed of the browsers so I don't base use off of that. I have a ton of addons I just can't do without that has been written for firefox. The new 3.5 is just the best! I can't ask for anything more.

Norton is junk - get rid of it.

As for FF 3.5, it's nice and speedy and admittedly the GNU/Linux version is MUCH better on resource usage. The jury is still out though on any memory leaks. Will have to checkout more add-ons to see what happens in this department.

Norton Internet Security toolbars (add-ons) do not work on Firefox 3.5. This is why I don't upgrade, since it would be quite an incovenience for me, given that I use NIS 2009 to store all my card details, all logins/passwords etc. (I wouldn't trust a web browser to handle that). If you need a fast browser, I recommend Iron, which is a fork of Google Chrome, but free from all the privacy-violating features Chrome is infamous for.

I think i am going back to firefox because on google chrome when i would try to load a website it would always mess up on me and not show me all the pictures on the site but firefox web browser shows me all the pictures on the website, yea it might take a little longer to start up, but it is worth it

it varies on your connection for me 3.5 and 4 run just as fast i havent seen a difference yet but on my cousins firefox 3.5 faster so i guess it just varies personally i prefer safari
