I've also got the IR link, but when I use to make a remote control for my PF, The message sent by the NXT takes too long to get to the IR receiver.

Your PF receiver is probably far away from your IR link sensor. Please also note that strong light (sun light for example) may affect proper operation.

...no sensors, just PF lights. The actual sensor with which this robot can see is the ultrasonic (the one placed between the treads). Thanks for your nice words! NeXTSTORM

mmm! actually I don't own the 4958 LEGO set. For example the tooth-plates are glowing in the dark, and you can find them in two LEGO sets (4506, 4339), or in bulk order (as I did).
