The fact that I have no idea who Donna Lynn Chaplain is - and I'm a Broadway actor - tells me that she really isn't that big a deal. I'm sure she's very talented, but I've never even heard of her.

I'm sorry, but if I were in Arcadia's show choir, I'd probably shank myself in the throat. My preference is the theatricality of show choir, though nothing is wrong with traditional show choir.

lol, show choir IS tough. until you're putting ice bags on every muscle you have, get perminant smile lines, and you're having dreams about your shows, you aren't even close to understanding the concept of what you've got yourself into.. but over it all, i've developed a real passion for this and its my whole WORLD

@enchantingerica lol and uggg those awful character shoes! our choreographer drilled us so hard on our facials that it actually hurt our faces to laugh at any jokes made after practice. she also made us girls walk with our hands flipped out flat because we were doing "Chicago". we looked like penguins! then the next year those of us who returned would sometimes unknowingly do that little hand flip during practice. lol the crazy things we endured for show choir.

@kikikiindrox uhh it is, im in a show choir, and you have to push every day to get better and to get through, these kids are doing extremely well, and i really think that thats the wrong impression, because we work hard, we try out by a solo and a dance at my school and our teacher isnt even a judge, she hires someone to come in to do it for us, because she doesnt want it to be biased. The dances were doing right now, a seriously hard, and i hope you'll realize that! :)
