No it doesn't. The DS is apparently "can't do 3D well" yet we got all these GBA games with 3DO graphics. While the DS's 3D graphics can outclass the PSX.

@Jaxd789 it loads because sense there's 3d involved it has to generate the levels 3 dimensional codes before actually rendering the level in game because the gba's processor runs at a 32bit 16.78 MHz.

And the gpu is mostly based on 2d graphics.

For it's time, the GBA was a godsend for handheld gaming.

I would say the audio and 3d rendering are 75% perfect.

Best about this game was soundtrack. If you got use to the frame and super size passengers and weird collsion detection, you can actually have some arcade fun with this game. Great job from SEGA, I wish they made a ds version.

Hmm. The level designs are good, but suffer from sever lack of resolution. The cars look great, but the collision engine sucks.

All in though, I give it a 7/10 because its fun, and they put effort in to the music, sounds, and design. Too bad there is not a psp version :-(

wow, this game runs similar to the mario kart games on the SNES,GBA,and N64. The cars are just pictures put together to make a so-called interactive gif. but, hey , mariokart was stilll good despite this and this game looks just as fun as the console versions.

Ill give this game kudos for getting the track design exactly as it was on Dreamcast, obviously the graphics suffered immensely but I think this is the only portable crazy taxi out (there might be one for PSP), and I do love this game, so until they come out with a better one, this is the best portable one

You should reailize that this engine is running in half-res. Also, these cars are sprites and not real polygonal objects like in NFS. So, in truth, that engine is inferior. Still impressive for 2002, though. =0
