They didn't simply let it burn. A fire such as this wouldn't be tackled from inside anyway. The fire crews were hampered by low water pressure in the area. I got this information from one of the firemen who was at the scene.

they let it burn because its 3000 degrees inside and there will be no life inside the building a few years ago if anyone can remember a few firemen lost there lifes in a warehouse fire so they let it burn out

@god0fgod you can't hear well the camera mic isn't that great but the bangs you're hearing were much louder in real life (even from a distance away) so they weren't going to risk it

I still don't have full water supply because they used our roads water supply. The fire crew were still around at 2am.
