I have found a solution that has improved my acne. You need a loofa sponge and some epsom salts. Take a shower then put epsom salts on your back. Put the salt directly on your skin. Leave the salt there for about one or two minutes. Then take the loofa brush and scrub the the salt into your skin. Scrub away the dead skin. This works because salt kills all the bacteria and the dead skin exfoliates. It is working for me.

@1RetroVision2 I know exactly what you mean , probably red or dark spots left? I haven't experimented with any high end products but what I like to do is exfoliate and use lemon juice. Ocean salt by lush is amazing. But you could even use brown sugar and lemon juice to make a paste . But I like the ocean salt, then put lemon juice on with a cotton ball. @iheartyahoo Hey :) Some of that is caused by hormones,but you're right since you perspire often the stomach and chest would most likely be caused by that.It's great to sweat because it keeps you cool and gets toxins out of your body..but it's also important to shower or clean your body off because that bacteria stays on your skin,clogs pores..and causes acne.Hmm,I know hard water caused a lot of problems with my skin, but try the murad spray :) I know acne sucks so much, but it will get better!

@curlytop1286 Hey! So first thing is, don't scrub it! That irritates it, and spreads it. I know it's hard not to because you want it to be clean. So what I suggest is to keep the area clean, when you shower..specifically wash the area gently. If you work out, clean it after so the sweat and bacteria doesn't settle in to the pores. I find lemon juice is a great cheap way to help the acne.The Murad body spray is a little pricy... so wait to purchase it, then try it if the other things dont work.:)

I've used Murad straight for 7 months, NOTHING I mean nothing happened. I suggest you go to your dermatologist, he recommended me some skin antibiotics and a cream, so far its doing much better than what Murad has done for me.

Actually, chocolate can definitely cause acne, my doctor was telling me, the bacteria from acne thrive on sugar and also greasy and oily foods like you mentioned, one thing that I never realized at first and a lot of people don't realize is your diet plays a huge part in your clarity. A few months ago I had nasty breakouts, I mean it wasn't the worst I've seen but they got to a point where I didnt want to go to school. I changed my diet totally around and I have a clear face now:)

@MahiletAbebe You could try speaking to your dermatologist again, they would know best. Just tell them it is not giving you the results you want so is there anything different? If not the murad spray is a great alternative. Lemon juice will also reduce the colour of the scars that are left behind. I know what you mean about wanting to wear clothing that doesn't allow it.

@McFrito90 Absolutely! I actually had that problem because I never thought to cleanse that area after a workout, or even just a long day. So at night try to cleanse your butt before bed and not wear anything tight .

A lot of great products can be found in the drugstore. But the Murad spray I have only seen in Sephora . May be able to get it online.

@McFrito90 try brewers yeast! omg i had quite bad back achne at one point and it really did the trick.since i dont eat breakfast,i have a soya protein shake.i call it my power shake. i have a few other things i add to it too. i add chlorella and spirulina powder,guarana extract,gingko leaf extract,soya lecithin powder and my soya protein powder is 90% soya protein powder...........

@McFrito90 but like she said i also try to stay away from greasy foods and drink plenty of water. i drink about 2 litres mineral water a day.oh and also try mineral water spray for the face.i use the evian one.it is great for hydration etc....alot of the time it has to do with what youre putting in your body.if your diet is bad then it will show on your skin :-)

@iluv2cheer2010 I went to a couple different dermatologists, so I got a few tips from them. But the hair thing was on my own. If you think about all of the oils, products...stuff that gets in your hair throughout the day. All of that is irritating your skin. So that is one major cause of acne. If you like your hair I wouldn't suggest cutting it.. just keep it pulled back at night. Hope this helps!

@MiSSloveish I have combination skin. I am not a dermatologist or anything. But I would suggest cleansing the area with something like clean and clear deep cleaning for sensitive skin.
