I had Romero winning 115-114. Tapia is the superior boxer and faster of hand and foot, but he gave away most of the middle rounds by focusing far too much on clowning and occasional potshotting instead of jabbing and going hard to the body like he did in rds 1-3. Romero was the harder puncher and although Tapia made him miss, his aggression was effective enough to win rounds. The key here is Tapia had audience in the palm of his hand. His bravado and showmanship make him look to be the winner.

Johnny was to fast with his hooks and jabs.For a little bit danny had a good right landing. But Johnny was right back on it with his speed and movement. Danny can be dangers he has hard hits. But Johnny Tapia! handled him out boxed him he won.
