Nice video. The Trainz version of the Big Boy is hard to keep rolling, & maintain the boiler pressure after about 15 minutes of steaming for some reason. The MSTS version is alot easier, but doesn't look as good.

No, there is a DCC mode in trainz, it's not just a real life simulator it's also a model railroad simulator. Have you ever used trainz (not being rude at all)? It really is there, it might be that your version has the realistic controls on default. You can switch to DCC mode if you wish, and a lot of people use DCC for beginning purposes. In surveyor try going into editing driver commands and switch DCC mode on.

Powertampa....This is because of all the lines in Train simulator, none of them in their entirety were designed for the big boy locomotives sheer length/long wheelbase. Also this wasn't designed by Microsoft, it's a third party design. And, not much about train simulator is 100% realistic anyways. I just play it for fun.
