I was born in Thailand, so to answer your question, I do understand Thai. This song happens to bring back some memories for me. I can remembering listening to this song and feeling the same way at the time. The guy I wish was someone else happened to be sitting next to me while we were watching this mv and he turned and said to me, "I know you wish I was someone else". And tears just started to roll down my cheeks as I was telling him no but we both knew that I was in denial.
