OK. I think I can see a lot of what you mean. You are correct in saying that a person becomes a Christian when they receive the Holy Spirit of Ggod and are transformed from the inside out and that any oputward action in and of itself, including baptism, does not make one a Christian. However, Yeshua Ha Mashiach (Jesus the Christ) advocated both baptism in water and of the Spirit. It was only when I called upon the name of Yeshua/Jesus that I received the Holy Spirit; a tangible reality to me.

I commend you on your degree. However, a degree means that you understand what you were taught, it doesn't mean what you were taught is true. Remember, a degree was made by man and given to man by man, not by God. Therefore, if what they taught is not found in the word of God, it doesn't matter if you had 10 degrees. Finally, all types pointed to an anti-type.Yes, Melchizedek was a type of Christ even as the sacrificial lambs were a type of Christ. However, now that Christ came already and fulfilled ALL types pointing to Him, he did away with them, that is why it is not necessary to kill a lamb now. For type met anti-type in Christ, and NO type concerning the Messiah can come after He already came. Notice how ALL of the types were in the Old testament (before Christ came in the flesh). Peace.

Also, there are no types of Christ in the New Testament whatsoever. I know that the patriarchs and prophets were all types of Christ because they pointed to Christ. I only learned this through independent study....(books = 1000-2000, internet, several different, but dynamic and functional equivalence being the same, etc.). Jesus said "If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin" (John 15:22). Jesus is saying that those that heard Him speak and those that have those words which He spoke have no "cloak" (covering, excuse) for their sin. They heard the truth, therefore, there is not an excuse to not live up to it.

Selassie did not speak the words of Christ neither did he do the miracles of Christ. Analyze the life of Christ in the bible to Selassie's life and it is clear they are two DIFFERENT men. Also, Rastas believe that Selassie is the Second coming of Christ. However, the bible declares that when Christ returns the second time He will "DESTROY THE EARTH AND THE SINNNERS OUT OF IT" Isaiah 13:9. Also read: Isaiah 24:1-6.

Remember the other parable about "Two Men in The Field...one taken the other left". The field represents the world (read Matthiew 13:38). When Jesus comes again, there will be two kinds of missionaries laboring out in the field - the false and the true. The true will be taken with him and the false will be devoured by Christ's coming.

So, when Christ returns he said to the righteous “my reward is with me”. He also said “I come quickly… to give every man according as his work shall be”. Many religions were only invented because there are people who want a "black god" or a "white god". What should it even matter to the world what race God was when He came to earth? Are we worshipping God because of what race He became, or are we worshipping God for being God? The important thing is not that God became a PARTICULAR RACE; but that he became part of the HUMAN RACE. Therefore, He (Jesus Christ) is both GOD and BROTHER of the ENTIRE human race.

After judgment is finalized this decree in verse 11 will go forth and then verse 12 says that Christ will then come quickly..."to give everyman according as his works shall be".

If no one can that is filthy can become holy, then there is no need for another tribulation period after he comes. According to scripture God will deliver us through that time, not from it. Remember how God delivered the Israelites THROUGH the plagues in Egypt not FROM them? He did not take them out of Egypt before the he sent the plagues. He sent the plagues while they were still there, he just delivered them through it. Even so will it be in these last days.

Also, let me say once again, I never said that those who have never heard of Christ cannot be saved. In fact I said many WILL BE SAVED if they worshipped in truth of heart (check my comments please). The non-believers Christ are reffering to in John :36 are the ones AFTER HEARING still choosing to not believe.
