Selling cars to young people is easy. Step one design generic 2-door coupe and or hatchbacks. Step two pay Hollywood to make a lame "street racing" movie to promote said 2-door coupe and or hatchbacks using big wings and cheesy body kits. Step three place small engine under the hood and design an exhaust with an easily accessible muffler so they can add a giant coffee can to it. Price tag of $18,000 and collect the riches.. Most young buyers are dumb.

I still like the 140S styling, but the 130R wins it for what you actually want in a compact sport coupe. An FF compact sport coupe is so [truthful but sexist comment here], and unless GM decks out the 140S like a European hot hatch, IRS, Tuned front knuckles, LSD, etc... forget it.

FR, Compact, looks cool and NOT pandering (probably looks good in person), and can handle OMG horsepower as is...

I see alot of comments saying these models SUCK. Well u gotta like the style they went with to like the car. for ex: some like Mustangs because of the muscle car body style and size. Im a shorter guy standing at 5'9'' and ive always like a smaller coupe style car. And I think the 130R (Red Car) lol looks horrible. Def a rx-8 style look gone bad. So im shocked chevy made that car. But the Tru 140S looks amazing. Has the pontiac G6 mixed with scion tc and the 2010 eclipse. lol

IM A 24/M and i think the True 140S is an amazing looking car. Its low profile and sleek top looks amazing. Def looking like good bang for your buck. The fact its estimated $20,000.00 US dollars loaded with a 1.4L turbo charged 4 cylinder engine is very nice. So maybe a standard non turbo prob sell for less. But regardless, itll have pick up with amazing gas mileage and the 140S just looks beautiful! Chevy please get the interior designed and bring this car out! I kno ill buy one! :)

@MrZach19 Depends on where u live. I live in the midwest and both chevy trucks and fords set the bar there. Even though dodge is hot on its tail. But as far as cars go, ford cars suck here in the midwest during the winter, same with toyota. Chevy cars are made for the weather and mitshibishi has def the cars for the winter.

Well if Chevy wants to compete on sales of the Subaru BRZ and Scion FRS, they better hurry up and build the 130R (red car) because there is a market for it and they don't need a huge line up of models for it either. As for the white car, I see it competing with the sports compact car like the Honda Civic Si and Mazda Speed 3 but they would also need to build a wider line up of models for this car in order sustain the sports model of this.

...all in all, they should pursue the 130R.
