These remade steps are horrible. The part when it becomes 165 BPM is retarded and you have to hold a freeze while hitting 8th and 16th notes then going to another freeze and if you play LEGITIMATE DDR style stepping, it's annoying and it makes you spin like 15 times in that one part. The DDR FOREVER steps are the best and only good ones for this song. Plus it's like the song was remastered. It sounds different.

OK, I'm not saying this looks easy or anything, but compared to some of the older songs, it seems to me to have far fewer of those moments to it where everything is so fast and so close together that your heart is exploding and you can't read it fast enough so you just step on any old arrow and hope for the best.

Basically at such a speed its not anymore about the timing but the ability to mash the buttons in time. So fastest doesent necessarily mean the hardest part since the timing factor is not that important if the speed passes a specific amount. Of course you still have to time your hits but the difficutly is about to hit those buttons in that short amount of time

I think what they were aiming at with the official steps wasn't "hi, this is a boss song" so much as "HOMAGE TO ALL OF THE MAXES".

Which doesn't necessarily excuse the steps, but it's a reasonable guess.

Well to us who's been playing Stepmania or DDR/ITG for quite some time might find it easier near the end, but to newer players they might find it quite hard due to the high speed that they're not accustomed to (unless they ever played Max,(period), they've probably never played a song that goes faster than 500 BPM in that time span).

Nice FC! I like this song too, so it's favorited! But what was Dukamuk thinking when he made these steps? You're right, it gets easier as it gets faster. It should be the opposite. Also, what was with the unreadable stuff in the beginning? It's a load of unnecessary freeze arrows that use their "greenness" to throw off your reading. They should've just used DM Ashura's steps on the Stepmania file he made around a year ago. Those are perfect!
