I use microsoft security essentials. It deletes the virus on site. Before i got it installed i simply opened the program and deleted it on site.

Everyone who is having problems try going in safe mode and running the bat file or downloading Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and run that in safe mode

Rapidshare is not a bad site it is a file hosting site, none of the files i upload have viruses check all of my videos and you will see there are no comments saying any of them are viruses

It doesn't work with System restore. It MUST be a backup. Back up is a copy and system restore check point meaning its only going to maybe install or uninstall something.

i got rid of the probelm I had to get rid of malwarefile in windows system32. but the trojan got pissed. fist it fucked my exe libary code where it said it can find any tthing but i fix it than it stop my internet and made it forsen. so did I download marbytes had to chage the name but it get stick when it try to delete so I had to delete all the other .exe files and registys with hackthis and cclearner manually

hey i had got system security on my comp

got it on 20/7/2009 and i got it outta my comp by 22 nd july 2009..i did tht by running a maylwarebytes quick scan in the SAFE MODE...the virus used to prevent me frm access to system restore task manager etc...try this i hope it il help ya!!

You might need to do a manual remove which means stopping the processes and manually deleting files to this rogue

Does this virus corrupt my data files? Meaning things like my music, pictures, and videos? If not, then it should be safe to move those files over to an external hard drive and onto a new computer right? The new PC won't get infected?

Yes it will affect things like music, pictures, and videos. Your second question about the hard drive thing, if the file is corrupted, i would keep that on the computer and move the non-corrupted files into the hard drive. This will be safe because the files that have been corrupted will even spread on a new computer if u place the file in your computer's hard drive.

im runnin safe mode, after i doubled clicked on this software it said could not find system security but when i turn my cpu on normal mode the system security pops back up with a big "WARNING etc..." background so im stuck

My mom was about to buy bullshit that removes specifically this virus and makes sure it never comes back...

My computer works just fine for some reason, so i think ill be able to get this file and patch it. I deleted the program, but just to be safe.
