I saw the guys at a couple of shows (Selinas and Penrith Panthers) on the tour that this clip shot on and they kicked arse live. Interestingly Brian Connolly toured a few weeks before and only managed to pull modest crowds at the pubs where he performed. The support act was "The Party Girls" a well known all female rock band back then.

@yorkie412 Well their was 3 sweet bands. Andy Scotts Sweet and Steve Priest's Sweet. Andy lives in the uk so he tours with them and there really awsome. Steve lives in the here in the USA so he tours in the states with his own Sweet,their alright. Brian Connoly had his own version of Sweet and they were terrible,his voice was gone and the band was kinda amaturish. Mick Tucker played with Andy and Steve over the years until his passing. In the 80's Brians voice was rubbish.

I don't know who are original members, but this new frontman, is AMAZING. It's like Arnel Pineda with Journey, same or better than the original. PLease notice his voice distorsion in the "I" letter in chorus (i.e."LIIIIving"). And the sound is grat, evry POWER

Actually you are wrong. This very much IS sweet.

Brian actually left the band in 1979.

This left 3 members Andy, Mick, and Steve.

The band split in 1982 and then got back together in 1985 but without Steve as he was living in America.

This lineup features 2 original members.

To say it aint Sweet just plain wrong and. It is like saying Queen with Paul Rogers is sh1t and isn't Queen, but it IS Queen with a different singer.

Well this is Sweet without Brian or Steve.

When the band re-formed in the mid 80's with Andy and Mick but without Steve (who was in America) or Brian, they were still called Sweet and were very much Sweet with the two out of the remaining 3 original members (don't forget Brian Left in 1978) leaving them down to 3 members.

Andy only changed the name to Andy Scott's Sweet after Mick died (nearly 20 years later) and he (Andy)was the only original member left.

The (real) SWEET and the magic of the 70's has gone 1978, when Brian was kicked out. All what is happening afterward is rather pathetic.

I don't like what Andy has been doing lately with the name of the Sweet, he should do solo-author stuff, rather instrumental than all of these reincarnations, just for the money. He is very good guitarist and compositor. What a waste of such talent!
