  • a jeeep or a mopar truck

  • sweet ride

  • That looks alot like the tractor I built in High School in 1980 wich I still have.

Our tractors resembles a factory built tractor by the Gibson Corp

  • cool dogs (:

  • You are the only guy I have heard of who cannot say 'my wife doesn't understand me!'

  • Birthday Present? If my wife gave me one of those ... I'd haf to shoot her. lol. Just kiddin'. That is quite a contraption. Ugly as hell but that what makes it so damned awesome! Thanks for the post!

  • any info on the clutch?

  • hey bud your wife is pretty cool. but if she really loved you it would have a turbo

  • Ford model A transmission...I have one still hooked up in the frame.

  • thats a t-model trans

  • I like the left front tire......but could last for years.

  • I love that little touch of rust

  • i would love to learn how to weld, i could build anything, even a tractor like yours. very impressive though

  • Thats a nice tractor!

  • Your wife bought it for you! I'm jealous, I hope you appreciate what a jem of a wife you have.

  • @fizzguts

She really is, Thank you sir.

  • That is not a ahh wisconsin I have a Homemade tractor exactly like that I shit you not and the engine is a ahh and it's twice the size of yours. The shroud looks to be off a ahh but I bet that's a bkn or smaller engine. Great machines though I have a 3 speed on mine 2 and a Rockford clutch and I can almost pull a 3 bottom plow.

  • @SummitXCR600

The vid may make it look deceiving, but it is an fact an AHH. Beyond the serial tag, I had mic'd the cylinder while the head was off and it's 3.625" or 3 5/8. the advertised bore for AH and AHH engines.

I love the old home-built machines. this one needs rear hubs but other than that runs/operates great.

  • the transmission is for a 30-31 Model A Ford(bolt bosses on the right side of toploader)

the front end and rear end are out of a pre-WW2 Crosley, what model i couldnt tell you

  • @cubcadetpuller

Hey, thanks for the information! Much appreciated man

  • @oldchevy4x4 oh anytime. these homemade tractors are better than any production unit, no two are the same even if you use the same parts

  • @cubcadetpuller

My thoughts exactly. I like all old tractors, but homemade machines really speak to me. I've got a few now and am always keeping an eye out for more.

  • Very Cool !

  • I wish I could get birthday presents like that.

  • That is the Coolest tractor I've Seen In A Looooong Time!

Now that's What i Call a GREAT BIRHDAY PRESENT!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MrDanoconnor

It's always good when the wife not only allows junk collection, but actually helps out!

    Thanks!

  • Man that thing is as ugly as ugly gets, but It looks like it could be allot of fun.

  • @bulldog0046

I'm what you could call a connoisseur of FUGLY machinery! This one is about tied with a couple others I have.

  • Seems to run good man! Thats a neat piece of machinery. Are you going to do more with it? Very cool bud!

  • @mbyr31

Thanks Matt. She really did run well, even tho it had a blown headgasket in this vid. I would like to get some more work done on it come spring time. Need 2 more tires, and some little things here and there. I really want to find some old style bias ply mud & snow tires for the rear (like the right rear)... it would be period correct for the machine.

  • i like it :)

    why know riding video ?

you dont need brakes . lol

  • @500passwords

    Thanks man!

I did try an on-board vid but it came out really bad. There's some work to be done before the next vid, I put new drive chains on it and sourced some trailer tires for the front but it still needs a head gasket, and brakes wouldn't be bad! As of right now it's covered up waiting for a little warmer weather...

  • @500passwords hell naw thats what gears are for brakes them are way over rated haha
