Remember, everytime you don't kill a bug, it has a chance to pass on positive traits to its offspring, thus creating a super-advanced breed of insectoid killing machine.
I always do that with spiders! I'm not usually afraid of insects but when spiders move... *shudders* But when I do put something over it, I put a piece of paper under it and take the spider outside to save it :) And when all else fails I squeal and get my big brother to save me with our vacuum :) I like how you're so honest
How many bugs were harmed during the making of this video? I see no disclaimer? And perfectly understandable of a fear of bugs, I have a slight fear of a Bug...that's legitimately someone's nickname I know of.
Don't worry - I'm irrationally afriad of moths. Moths are like the bug least likely to hurt you in any way, but they just freak me out - really, really bad. I trained my dog to kill them, so now I'm safe :3 BTW, you are a) really pretty, b) have great taste in musicals & books and c) have really awesome scheduling skills. :D
THERE'S SOMEBODY WHO'S JUST AS AFRAID OF BUGS AS I AM!!!!
Dunno if that's a good thing or a bad thing...
But, in any case, my bug phobia is so bad that I can't watch certain parts of Indiana Jones & the Temple of Doom... or I scream. Loudly. Especially when Willie turns over her hand to find a particularly gnarly-looking creature. Uuuugh, just gave myself the shivers...
@tallatstarbucks Naw, in Chamber of Secrets, I just cover my eyes with my hands and peek out between the spaces in my fingers. My family (or whoever I'm watching it with) is often very amused by this. -_- IT'S NOT FUNNY. This is GENUINE FEAR.
I feel the same way about cockroaches. They're horrible, I try the shoe thing but all I could manage was throwing a shoe at it only to scare it and have it scurry to an unknown place in my room >_<
OK. Weirdest thing, my most recent vlog that I've made on my channel was about my irrational fear of bugs! (I am guilty of putting cups on bugs aswell)
i love the post-it notes! that's such funny way to solve the situation hahaha
I'm always the one among my friends that takes the bugs outside. I don't like touching things like spiders but as long as we both leave each other alone we get along pretty well.
@kaysyconundrum Yeah. I'm okay with them when they are in places that aren't my room. But when they are, I worry that they'll crawl into my bed while I'm sleeping and this is a thought I cannot deal with.
@TheMinuteVlog Plus, I'm sure before you got out there, Professor Oak would tell you how dangerous it is to be out in the wild and take you to his lab and give you a Pokemon.
Oh god, I caught an earwig one night under my hair gel, completely forgot about it until the hairstyling session the next day. I could've done with the post-it system.
@LegendEntertainment1 me, too I use it too kill these big, black spiders - Once I throw a big book at a spider and it could rescue itself under my bed! I didn't sleep the whole night until my dad came around to kill it. #I'm a girl I'm allowed to do so
i don't use the cup method because the last time i tried that the bug escaped.
it was the most terrifying moment of my life to see the cup out of the corner of my eye move on it's own as the bug lifter it and walked out.
i didn't know they could do that! clearly they are evolving and i force myself to kill them if at all possible. some times it is not possible and once i had to move bedrooms because i saw a spider. never looked back.
@leggsXinXaXtopXhat I generally trap them and then go sleep somewhere else because I'm afraid of them escaping. At home, I usually go sleep on the couch in the living room.
At 3 in the morning last summer, my sister and I were up late watching Friends....suddenly, we saw a roach on THE WALL. We proceeded to throw a shoe at it. Then, it started to FLY! A flying roach at the 3 in the morning is not a good situation!
Omg have a Fault in Our Stars poster. I want!

My techniques:
1.) Squash bug with hard object. (cane, boot, pot, book)
2.) Drop heavy object upon bug. (Books mostly)
3.) Chemicals. Spray bug with air freshener or glass cleaner until movement stops, then proceed with technique 1 or 2 to ensure death.
4.) Catch bug in cup. Squash cup. (repeat squashing if necessary)
5.) Release the hounds. (my dogs love bugs)

I TOTALLY understand labeling the cup. I've trapped bugs like that, forgot they were under the cup, and screamed upon carelessly picking up said cup
