  • You're a pretty skater, and your spins are nice :)

  • were do you skate??, i used to skate at the billingham forum but it shut soo now i go to whitley bay

  • this was recoreded at summer skating school in Amherstburg, ontario. I skated at South Windsor Skating Club. i dont skate anymore. haven't for about a year and a little bit

  • the spin around 2:06 is called a flower spin.

at least thats why my coaches call it (:

check out my skating video guys!

  • im not exactly sure but i think that the official name is "the cork screw spin" but im not sure

  • that was very nice =D

  • very good program. The only thing i would comment on is that there was quite a bit of cross-overs and for an interpretive i think there should be more turns connecting steps - like dance almost. at least thats how i see it. but im not saying that it wasnt good,...because it was

  • That was sooo beautiful! I loved it!

  • btw, you asked for pointers so I would have to say stick through your spirals, don't just end them abrubtly (im not saying you ended it that abruptly, i just couldnt think of a word) don't forget, i know all anyone ever thinks about is jumps, but figure skating is about being graceful as well. Really committ to all the graceful arm movements and stuff and that will give it a cleaner look. Good luck!

  • you're pretty good, lol. Finally, fellow figure skaters! too bad i already had to quit, oh well at least i can watch your videos, lol. what's that spin called at around 2:06? man, so many memories! I remember the last thing i tried to do was pass the paso doble, i took it about three times but i didn't pass it. They should call it the failo doble, really, lol

  • thank you i actually don't know the name of that spin lol oddly enough. you'd think after 11 years of skating i would know..but i don't lol

  • @tupper1985 its a back corkskrew or how ever its spelled haha

  • i do it to :>

    your good :>

  • aww u look so graceful when you skate, really nice!

  • dang your good :))

  • cool wht level r u?

im intermediate ladies and this is my 6th year skating (i started late)

  • Oh, wow you can do a biellmann spin?

How long did it take you to get that spin down?

  • I am trying to get my doubles down but my coach wants me to keep trying to jump higher on my singles. They are already high enough but she thinks jumping higher will look more competitive. And she wants me to also slow down because I barely started figure skating mid last year but I am a fast learner and I been working hard to.

Have you tried you camel into sit spin yet?

  • haha yeah, im beyond that. . . im a sr.bronze. i can do laybacks camels, sits. flying sit flying camel. back camel, back sit, beillmen ( spelling? lol), catch foot, liberty, death drop, and combination spins. as well as a little bit of pair skating. i also do ice dance

  • You should try watching behind you on your back spiral becuase you can accidently hit someone with your blade. Like some people that skate backwords that dont look behind them just run into people all the time.

  • no realy?? i did. i always do. and there was no one on my way. trust me i know what to do(Y) been skatng for 10 years. but thanks

  • Wow ten years, which jumps have you learned so far?

  • I think you should have jumped the jumps :P

    Would have been better...lol

    I like your layback, alot!

  • yeah there are no jumps in this program. it's an interpretive program. iknow it looks like i was going to do a lutz but its not actually in my program. this was done..almost 2 years ago.the program is different now. and again . no jumps

  • I just can´t do spins grrrrrrr

  • your great!! i had chris as a dance coach in tha spring! i love him

  • your a beautiful skater!!! =)

  • hey, very nice! what level are you? im prejuv. but im testing my mif soon =]]

  • im sr. bronze, im 17, im at a low level becuase i've messed up my knees twice and broken some bones which have been a huge set back, as for interpretive i have my gold

  • lol, im twelve, idk where sr. bronze stands, but your good and obviously higher than me.. i dont do interpretive.

  • wait, what is sr. bronze??? Oh, yeah. You are really good!!! How long have you been skating???

  • sr.bronze is being able to land your doubles and axel as well in combinatino and sequence. as for spins its all the inside spins and combinations. and the flying spins...its gets complicated to explaine everything lol

  • Its only in Canada.

Its equivelent is juevenile in the U.S i think. Its right before Pre-Novice or Intermediate. (well thats if you test into competitive, its complicated to explain..)

  • great artistic solo!! ^_^ very pretty. I'm actually just gettig started on an artistic solo, because I have my gold dance and now I want another thing to go for gold on other than freeskate and skills. I'm so excited cuz im crazy and all my friends are like "why aren't you doing artistic, you're nuts!" so yeah! lmfao, great program!!! Upload some of your freeskate too, it'd be cool to see!!

  • yeah sure things..actually tomorrow my club is haveing out holiday skating show. so i'll record our group number and my holiday skate..lol the program im skating im totally making up cuz i was asked to do it like 3 days ago

  • OOH we had the Mariposa coaches (Doug, Lee and Robert) come to our club in the spring, they're REALLY good coaches so i would suggest trying to take lessons there if you can!!

  • yeah i've done many seminars with mariposa.

  • where are the jumps?

  • its called interpretive..no jumps..your suposed to interperate the music and be artistic..p.s this video is almost 2 years old...this program is ALOT better. come this christmas break i will post a new video

  • oh sorry.

im a freestyle skater, so im used to seeing jumps.

  • i free skate as well, but this is just another area of skating to test for a gold. which i have.

  • Gorgeous ina bauer.

  • You are really good!

  • I think this is still my favorite figure skating video on youtube. :)

  • aww thank you:D

  • cool :)

  • omg 9 years and thats all you can do

  • its called interpretive skating the retard

  • hi!! i'm kinda a beginner and i was wondering if u had any tips for me for my scratch spin... I can't get my leg crossed over... I lose balance if i even get near to it

  • YOU ARE REALLY GOOD!!! what level are you in??

  • that was at my bronze interpretive..

    i now have my gold

  • nice song choice - sale/pelletier skated to this song I believe. I liked your ina bauer :)

  • - You have a lot of glides on two feet. Try some back crossovers to some outside edges.

    - Incorporate levels. Maybe do crossovers w/bent knees into a glide with the leg extended. Now, I despise jumps as much as the next person, but try a Tano Lutz. That lift off the ice helps create some dynamics so it's not flat.

    - What if you added some more variety with your arms, like touching your face, or leaving your free hand behind your back? You can do these with crossovers building up speed.

  • thank you for your input . probably the most helpful comment i've gotten. since i posted this video which was last august, i've improved this program i've added spins and edgework to it. it looks so much better. i'll try and post a new video soon

    thank you again

  • how long have u been skating? i think if u had a little more extension, you'd be surprised at how much more elegant you can be on the ice. i really like this!

  • 8 and 3/4 so just about 9 years. and yeah this was last summer before we finished my program.its all done now and SOOO much better

  • Very Nice.

  • HA i skated in your ice show twice and chris is my choreographer too = D p.s. dont listen to the ass holes on here, it's all good

  • Do you know an Elizabeth Dallabona

  • no i don't i don't skate with the amherstburg skating club, i was only out there for summer skating school, i skate in windsor, at south windsor skate club

  • u suck u had no feeling at all in your movements at all....sry but ive done interpetive programs and always won i have know clue wat dis was.

  • i thought it was pretty coool i like it xxx

  • IM surpruised you didnt have an axel in your solo

  • well it's an interpretive program..judges don't really like jumps in a program such as this. jumps are for free skate. i competed against a girl who did an axel in her program....and she got last..but had a beautiful progrram

  • ah no offence but you look tired in this video or like youre not feeling the music..looks like theres talent for so much more though..!

  • that was okay but you need to work on your spirals and hold your spins just a little longer.

i can do double salchow, double toe combo lol

and i'm working on my double axel

  • ok, i know. what jumps do you do?

  • axel, dtoe, dsalchow, dlutx, dflip, dloop

    you?

  • this is my 3ed year and i can do a axel dtoe dsalchow lutx dloop

  • what aren't you jumping in this video??

  • because its an Interpretive program or if your american...its Artistic

  • how long have ou been skating? Very nice :)

  • 9 years and thanks

  • beautiful layback :)

  • You need a lot of flexibility I wanna see you in some years.

  • Sorry, for some reason it doesn't show the first time I post a comment. lol

  • um..you just posted that twice

  • Nie layback. But the scratch spin and your spiral need work. (A bit shacky) Otherwise...nice.
