  • one of my favourite song ever

    i love it

  • Jorma is a nazi look at his necklace? I don't think he was Hitler's pal. What a moron.

  • @HemiHead66

    He's jewish you dope.

  • @mzhandcuffmedollface

    don't be silly and inflammatory

that's an ancient Hindu symbol of blessing

  • @aurora1957A also a ancient symbol to the Northern American Native tribes I think Sioux and Omaha. : )

  • The swastika is an ancient symbol that has been used for over 3,000 years it was an Egyptian and Native American symbol way before the natzi's ever used it. Note the way the charm is hung level as it was used by the Native Americans...The natzis inverted the it so the tops was a point. it is a different angle. The word "swastika" comes from the Sanskrit svastika - "su" meaning "good," Check for yourself.

  • @mzhandcuffmedollface Seeing that he's Jewish, That is probably not likely

  • Hm, an earlier post here suggests that the lyrics are "Been so long since I felt at home in THIS WORLD ", but various sites list them as "Been so long since I felt at home in YOUR LOVE". Yet I don't hear either! No matter how often I listen, I hear " Been so long since I felt at home in THE MIRROR". Which is it, Jorma?

  • @ngiyaxolisa jorma improvise a lot in lyrics, i think

  • stasera grande concerto degli hot tuna!!

Pontinia Rock & Blues Festival - Italy-

  • Hot Tuna acustico è il meglio!

    :)

  • ieri mi hanno fatto venire i brividi!

  • Thanks for some choice tunes, Aurora.

  • You're welcome!

    :)

  • Such a tasty version of a lovely, lonely, lament.

.....'cause it's been so long since I felt at home in this world.....

  • The greatness that is Hot Tuna. One of my alltime favorite bands. They still put on a great show, electric or acoustic.

  • Great song, they used to annonce them as "Hot F##king Tuna" & that's no joke.

  • HEY NOW ~~~~~~ F AWESOME BRO !!!

  • thanks! Great tune, electric or acoustic.. Jack is only doing a couple of shows this year, unfortunately..

On the upside, just scored tickets for NRPS!

    :)

  • I don't know if the CD version has been cleaned up a bit...I have Burgers on one of those crummy "dynaflex" RCA discs like I did JA's "Bark", Indian Summer on RCA Neon and a few Guess Who LP's too...ugh! Was the automobile on the cover of Burgers one of their own?

  • uh huh... that thin vinyl that would bend when you held the lp between the palms of both hands and shook it up and down.. lol..

Yes, I used to know the whole story, but I do remember they owned that classic car.. you gotta love some of the stuff that stays on the road in CA...

    :)

  • LOL....I remember my mom tryin to break my Nillson Schmillson LP when she heard "You're Breakin My Heart" and it just bent....i forgot about those....thx for the memories....LOL

  • I have contacts at a radio station serviced by Red House Records, so between his solo CD's and the Hot Tuna material on Rockin Relix, RCA and Grunt and his first few solo LP's, we're pretty much covered. The whole new CD is incredibly listenable & lyrical; his voice sounds like exactly the way it was near 40 years ago and it's quite textured with many other players, so it's not some mellow soft on-a-whim in one take simple simnger-songwriter stuff. Operator? Full Go Round? dunno as I'm at home.

  • A brilliant version also appears as the opening track of Jorma's new solo album "River Of Time". Wow--those first three Hot Tuna albums, you just can't be without/the Electric Recorded Live First Pull Up Then Pull Down you can't miss the yellow and blue stripes along the spine of the LP in anyone's record collection...

  • wow how'd you get your hands on a pre release copy of the man's new CD?!

And them first three LPs... yas yas yas... I still got em, has the CD version of First Pull Up been cleaned up at all?

    :)

  • and oh yeah, does it include "Operator"??

  • or "Full Go Round"? (Jorma's new CD I mean)

  • bright song.....

  • Very Very Cool Aurora Very Laid Back Tuna At Thier Best Thx..........

  • Great vid aurora! Where do you get all these great groovy pictures? I just love J & J and just made a "mind movie" using Embryonic Journey as the soundtrack. It is the best song ever written!

    thanks so much for posting!
