Remember verses were sent to Muhammad for the battle field. Learn and read about the context from islamic perspective. Look at both sides and be sincere in your approach.

Meaning yes this verse is talking about a war/battle situation. So pray even if you're in a battle. Read it properly. Search for Quran 4.102..

Allah does not forbid you respecting those who have not made war against you on account of (your) religion, and have not driven you forth from your homes, that you show them kindness and deal with them justly; surely Allah loves the doers of justice.
So post the context of the other verse and don't ignore the context of The whole Qur'an.
