@jako9569 Thanks for watching it. This was the hardest one to make (all the fx took a lot of time). I actually had to use 2 programs for it. Studio 11 (at the time, I now have Avid Studio) and Premiere 6.0 (now have Adobe 9 Elements). It's the 'screening' and 'overlays' that take the longest and the reason for using both programs. @LuthorX87 it wasn't their fault it was cancelled. The main reason is, is that they ran out of story lines. and why they stopped SGU is was because they were losing more money than making because no one really liked it.

As you noticed, I tried hard to match as much footage from both shows but SG1 had more to play with (10 yrs vs 4...didn't have s5 at the time for SGA) so a lot of big stuff got dropped: Tolan, Anubis, Todd etc. If you saw all the cut footage, you'd see a 10-15 minute vid with only 6 min of music. LOL Anyway. Thanks again for watching and the FB. I did love making this vid.

That was wonderful, it actually bought a tear to my eye. Stargate, SGA in particular, will always hold a special place in my heart, and I still feel so saddened by its loss. SGU just isn't filling the hole that these shows left. Your vid was so beautiful, thanks for reminding me what was so great about these shows.

Just Curious What Program did you use to make it?

First, THANKS! Second, THANKS! And third, started with Premiere 6.0: amazing multi-layering video capabilities... when it works. Program is old, very unstable. In the end I had to move on to my Studio 11 Ultimate, not as advanced in editing dept, great for single clip editing but painfully slow -- no real-time footage and no layering of real use. I'll miss the P-6.0 but I think it's time to say goodbye to it given the problems I've had.

YW. Premiere is an Adobe program (very expensive) but Studio is just over $100. I've also been told that Sony is a good program though I don't know if it has multi-layering or not. Good luck! :)

But I like to try out new ones.

Pinnacle has Multilayering I just want to try out New Prorams
