I dig the fact that people come on here and say Meshuggah is better than "band x". It's true. Thordendal invented this riffing style and was the first to incorporate the Holdsworth inspiration through his lead-playing style. Haake drumming? Legendary. Jens Kidman? Devastating. Always emulated but never duplicated.

Overall I prefer alot of dynamic rythims and guitar lines, still having a hard time finding more artists that fit that bill. Gru is one that I just found today however and they are fantastic.
