Ok here is my guide how to get the best out of DMG while still being safe.

1. PK in to enemies

2. Silence

3. Ulti

4. Shell surf toward Your team

5. Hide

6. Blink back to Your shell

This is a bad strat because Shellsurf wont damage anybody (since its just spammed into a safe direction).

A lot more smart would be to blink in, silence + ulti + surf out while hitting couple of enemies with the surf on its way. And ofc just Take Cover just after u used the surf and port out safely :P

This MIGHT be a good idea if f.ex you are 1v5 and some of enemy are under 300 hp (or u have codex on bub), so u just make a quick blink kill and port out w/o enemy knowing the direction of Surf.

Haters gonna hate. Portal Key is awesome on Bubbles. Shell Surf's cooldown (15s) is a little too long to be spammable, so that's where PK comes in handy (especially if you picked Steamboots). Not only can you chase down foes but it also allows you to escape from the stickiest of situations.

Of course, PK on Hag is a whole other story, considering her 12/10/8/6 second cooldown on Flash of Darkness... =.=

PK is/was core on bubbles, he was invincible with it because he could use it out of take cover. They nerfed his take cover down to 2.5 seconds to stop this.

The reason portal key is recommended is because he can turn invoulnerable for 3 seconds, letting it become ready in that time, additionally having a second blink on a speller hero is useful. It should however be used for escaping and tracking. In a situation like this you should shell surf in and portal key out, or else it will be a total waste.

PK is useful, if your up against some well fed carrys like MB, u can escape easily with pk on bubbles in that case .

bubbles is one of the best hero in to game to initiate, pk right in to the enemys grp, silence - ulti - cast shellsurf - then hide - then use shellsurfs tele to escape. might do some autoattacks after that (if u didnt die :D)

you can pk to the enemy cast silence, stun and your shell surf then hide using thirdskill then 1st skill again to go back :D (my technique on bub)

@Dwellas0ner Anyone that's not terrible knows that PK is very usefull on bubbles. Anyone can easily dodge his shellsurf when you use it to inichiate. People just split and then colaps on him, Very bad. With PK they don't stand a chance.

@SnoweyMan111 Depends where you Surf from. You can easily pull off ez initiations if you have good placement and the fight area is right. Fog and trees from different angles supply enough ground to initiate with a Surf imo.

@FknnBarrage Yeah sure, but take the most normal settings, when turteling in the base or initiating into their base. Those are bound to happen. Or defending a tower or trying to force a teamfight through a tower.

All of those situations are situations where the shell is easy to spot. And they're pretty vital. I prefer PK on bubbles unless there's someone who sets things up more easily.

but i will note that the guy in this video is doing it wrong. you can blink in, and surf in any given direction from your enemies feet, wait out the distance in your shell. that way you get the damage from your shell included in your combo.

makes you unkillable as long as your blink is off CD. If you get hit, your pk goes on a 3 second CD. Shell, wait 3seconds, then blink away and theres nothing anyone can do about it. Initiation? blink in, silence, ulti and shell surf to safety or cut them off or to put that enemy behe's PK on 3 second cd. PK with Bubbles is very very viable, has been for years on his twin (puck) in DoTA.

@Dwellas0ner pkey has time to recharge its cd if you hide in your shell. Its impossible to die as bubbles with pkey, only some heroes can kill him and thats only if they do a little smart thing no one every think about in pubs.

I wouldn't really go for Portal Key in HoN. In DotA, it was a great item because you could use items while phase shifted. In HoN, you're silenced and you can only escape your phase shift if you move, of if the spell duration is over.

+ Double blinking is kinda useless, since Puck is supposed to be a hero that stays IN the fight (that's why he has Phase Shift ability too).
