  • what's the difference b/w rubber, gutta, or wax--don't they do the same thing? If yes, which do you prefer to use the most and why? Thanks.

  • You say that it will make the silk like paper.... Does this go away again?

I want to make a silk dress with coloured flowers, so I want the control (without the gutta) but I want it to be like regulare, flowing silk afterwards so I can wear the dress

  • wonderful for making sharp edges

  • Could you name the product you are using for this technique? The anti-spread product name please.

  • different versions of anti-spread will have a different impact on the textile, and it is a function of what material weight you are working with whether you notice

as with all products you should cosult your dealer with this question as the film does not support or endorse one product over another

this particular product from H.Dupont Silk Dyes of France does not affect the drape of the fabric
