No, it's perfectly safe as long as you don't have pre-existing kidney or liver issues.

At the time of this video I was 185 pounds. I'm about 190 now.

I've been "lifting" consistently for about 8 years but I go through times of endurance and weight training so my lifts alter slightly depending on what I'm doing.
