Remember PC zombies: If its below ave temp cold, its global warming, if its ave temp cold, its global warming, if its above ave temp cold, its global warming, if its below ave temp warm, its global warming, if its ave temp warm its global warming, & if its above ave temp warm its global cooling
Al Gore, along with the corporate controlled media & robotoids in government are the same shysters who gave us NAFTA, GATT, 2 Iraq wars, an Afghanistan war expansion, now this GW charade?
Isn't everyone tired of being lied to? Every town around me has loads of shutdown family owned stores, empty commercial buildings, & for sale signs on houses, many of them empty because they cant afford to pay the taxes & or lost their jobs
To hell with these con artists & their GW charade!
I, RedwoodTheElf, believe that it is sickening that the Bush Administration's excuse for America's massive pollution is "China is worse," as if that excuses us.
Two wrongs don't make a right.
America is the only industrialized country not to have signed Kyoto.
I foolishly believed that Australia had not signed Kyoto, but gmc5626 set me straight.
Yeah, imagine that silly Glenn Beck, imagining that a vote for the USA to NEVER partipate in ANY treaty that doesn't hold ALL participants to the same standard would apply to Kyoto...
"The dictates of political correctness are strict and only one permitted truth, not for the first time in human history, is imposed on us. Everything else is denounced. The author Michael Crichton stated it clearly: "the greatest challenge facing mankind is the challenge of distinguishing reality from fantasy, truth from propaganda". I feel the same way, because global warming hysteria has become a prime example of the truth versus propaganda problem."
How about doing it because it is the right thing to do? Morons like Glenn Beck and his beloved prez have a schoolboy, schoolyard, nyah nyah nyah mentality that deningrates ALL Americans. I don't give a fig what China or India or anywhere else does. I lower my impact on our ecology because it is the RIGHT THING TO DO.
The environment starts with you and me, not the Kyoto agreement. Once we make changes in our life to improve pollution, companies will follow suit in hopes to obtain our business.
It's up to the people, not up to the lawmakers. Yes, something as small as increasing MPG in your car will be a start, but still is not good enough.
If you hadn't noticed Industry is already moving to China. Kyoto would simply force more industry to China and India. Is it the right thing to do if it costs even more American Industry to leave the country?
If all the folks who believe in AGW, would just shoot themselves in the head it would greatly reduce their CO2 emissions down to zero. How about doing it because its the right thing to do?
There are many things in society that is the "right thing to do" but this phrase you repeatedly use is empty logic. If something is the truth then it's the right to do; this man-made global warming scam is not a truth!
[cont.] The Earth has gone through numerous spikes in temperature, both hot and cold. It does not mean that the current "increase" (0.6 degrees Celsius over the 100+ years) explains purely that the "increase" is man-made. If you want to decrease your impact on the earth, do so, that's your choice. However, nobody should be forced to through law to decrease their "foot-print" when it clearly doesn't make sense.
"As someone who lived under communism for most of his life, I feel obliged to say that I see the biggest threat to freedom, democracy, the market economy and prosperity now in ambitious environmentalism, not in communism. This ideology wants to replace the free and spontaneous evolution of mankind by a sort of central (now global) planning." - Vaclav Klaus

Also it provides barking outlet for envious egomaniacs to feel like alpha apes too.
And Clinton and Gore are going around re-writing history denying they opposed passing the treaty. So, it has to be reiterated to point out that Clinton/Gore are lying (again). Just reminding people. Nothing wrong with introducting evidence that the two are lying.

RedwoodTheElf, you are very enlightened on this issue.
I agree 100%.

So Gore is to blame for not sending the Kyoto protocol for ratification?
Remember the Senate's vote was before the protocol was even agreed upon.
REMEMBER THAT, GLENN BECK?
One of the main reasons is exatcly the one Gore puts forth - so who is actually behind this policy?
Gore or the Senate?

"Political correctness" came earlier from the "Frankfurter Schule".
Later the NSDAP adopted the idea and called it "Gleichschaltung"
The goal was much the same as what the red/green Jehovah witnesses now are trying to do.

Besides "global warming" we got things like;
Non-existing "Palestinians" from a state "Palestine" which never existed,
We got an extreme conservative National Socialist Party,
how a Socialist Party can be extreme conservative they don't know themselves either.
The worshippers of terrorists, Mass murderers and Dictatorships seem to hate the truth as much as vampire daylight.

I can't wait until 10 to 20 years from now when we realize that man is not causing global warming!

lol, won't that be a bitch. environmentalists will probably find something else to bitch about like mass fish extinction.
