@MrTORYTOM Typical Tory lies. His father came from a working class background? Yeah, sure! Take a look at Wikipedia and you will see that the family come from a line of Baronets, stretching back to the 17th century, who have passed on their ill-deserved wealth and privilege from one generation to another. Although Osborne might not have gone to Eton, St Pauls is a very privileged private school too. These people have controlled society for too long, brainwashing the masses into subservience.
So what we should get a homeless person to be the chancellor just because he can empathise? Even if he's as thick as pih shit?
So what he's from r ich family, stop being jelous and try and earn some cash for yourself instead of expecting the Government to just hand it to you on a plate.
This guy is a rich twat (Sorry not that usefull) Osborne does not know how the average hard working British tax payer goes about there lifes. He has never had to worry about money, never had to worry about paying the morgage, rent, electric bill, gas bill, filling up the car or how genine sick people live there lifes.
He like the Tories and MR Clogg do not give a shit about us. But they want our money
We are all in the s***, meanwhile, Osbourne can look forward to a cushy job on the board of a bank, while the City consumes all the wealth.
The financial sector will continue to grow while the rest of the economy, the part that actually makes stuff, will wither away (look at how Osbourne snubbed the video game industry, one of the few things we are good at making in this country).
The economy would collapse ? The economy IS collapsed for the majority of society...Youth unemployment 1 million..Pay freezes..Pensioner poverty..Industrial collapse..170 billion quantitive easing..Banking bailout scam..Give a million people a pound and it'll stimulate the economy not sit idle in someones account.....
@simonspangles I agree, they are the ones that caused this mess. Blame the poor Nice! But you can't blame him, he is only a rich Tory, does not know anything abou the hard working tax payer or the genuine sick people.
George is saying that Gordon (as chancellor) did nothing to ward off the huge debt we all share and yes, how can this problem be fixed unless we're all in this together.

We are in the shit, but I haven't seen Osbourne down here. I suspect he forgot, everyone is" in it together" except him and his ilk.

Giving people more responsibility is just tory-speak for:
We're not going to help you / You are on your own!

There are almost half a million millionaires in Britain. If they left, the economy would collapse.

He does of course just mean all conservative MP's and how they can't wait to strip away what little left we have to line their own pockets.
