I'll find another manufacturer who will support my rights. Thanks anyway.
I do have one of these, and yes they are rather thin I have no doubt in the event of a burglary I'd find it crowbared open, or yanked out entirely.
However, I don't use this for cash, jewels, or even my more expensive guns. I've got a serious floor safe for that. This is simply a way of keeping guest's hands safely off of a loaded fast access Glock. And it also doubles as an impressive looking office accessory.
I like the 90% of child shootings occur in the home. That is from the anti-gun propaganda. What they don't tell you are it's 16 year old gangsters in the hood getting shot. Even when they get shot by cops they call it "the shooting of a child in the home". They include suicides in their statistics also. There are almost no kids getting shot accidently in the home.
@eightbit3055 Kids lack the ability to exercise mature decisions. Even though you can show a child how to use a gun does not assure they will always handle it maturely. That is why you the parent has to constantly monitor them, and never leave a situation open for a child to be with a firearm without direct adult supervision.
@sportpro448 What an idiot. Assuming a child cannot do something my be yours or your family's last mistake. Besides, a child does not have to learn how to take a magazine out, he/she just needs to know hoe to put one in. Please grow up before you have children.
I wouldn't keep valuables or large amounts of cash in that, but it looks like a nice quick access gun safe. It would keep girls and most pre-teen boys out.
A huge problem so many people make is to prohibit their kids from playing with toy guns of any kind..not even cops/robbers etc...you know the kind. Better solution: They need to teach their kids how to safely handle guns and to teach them "gun safety".. By avoiding the issue and prohibiting them you only increase their curiosity. they will go to "billy's house" and play. By teaching them gun saftey they will understand and know what to do when one is around. I hope I made sense.
i wanted to know, if u want a floor safe say in your bedroom, do they have to actually drill out the space for the safe in your bedroom in the floor? right? cos a safe thats just bolted in isnt that safe is it?
You've got to laugh at this advert, he hears a burglar so he gets his gun, what he gonna do with it? That happened in the UK and he got a prison sentence for shooting him in the leg.
No, in Canada the robber comes in beats you to death, gets caught, takes a year to go to trial, gets 15yrs, reduced to 5 by appeal and the 1 1/2 he has bewen in jail counts as double time, so he serves 2 years, 6 months of that in a halfway house.
Meanwhile you are dead. Frankly I would prefer having the gun and the bad guy being dead.

That's why there's no minimum age to start showing your kids firearms.

Be 100% sure and get the guns out of your house.

The irony is the day you remove the guns from your house is the day you get burglarized or get home invaded.

Why do I have a feeling this safe isn't very secure... the door looks very thin.
I'd just bolt a floor safe into the ground.

Zeamus634 2 years ago
Thats why the UK sucks. In america even you have every right to defend yourself and property.
yzcrasher187 2 years ago 6
Unlike the UK, here in America we have the right to protect ourselves, including using deadly force if necessary.
As for getting a prison sentence for shooting him in the leg, that's why you shoot to kill. Then there's only one side of the story to tell the cops.

LOLOL Poor guys, I live in Canada, someone tries to rob me, shootem in the face... goto jail.. get out in five

You wouldn't go to jail for defending yourself here. The UK is screwed up.
