@madleech Wagons are different colours from white to brown, and each affects the light levels entering the camera and it tries to compensate by opening and closing the iris accordingly. The undesired effect of this is the sky changing from blue to white as it gets washed out.....
@ejvideos07 ..... By locking the aperture, the sky stays the same as the train goes past. The fun part is deciding what setting to lock it to. What I did was power on the camera on auto with no train in the scene, flick it to manual control then open up the iris one notch to make the picture a tad brighter. This seems to be a good balance, But I'll keep experimenting. Giving away all my secrets here...EJ ;-)
@ejvideos07 Ahh right locking in the exposure, yes well familiar with that, one of the things I always look for in a camera :-) I thought you meant just locking the aperture and letting the shutter adjust...
