Having said that, the video needs to show your wrists. And do you still think you will be able to get him out once he turns 12?
On a serious note, someone should be telling the youngster to move his feet in the direction and line of the ball and to bring his pad in conjunction with the bat to avoid the ball passing though the gate..a common fault amongst inexperienced cricketers..he is playing miles away from his body which is good but should only occur after he has mastered his defence..let him whack a few half volleys and pull some long hops to get a feel of the ball on the bat and keep his enthusiasm.

An offspinner's carom ball or doosra has the wrist either going the same way as the his stock ball or not at all. A right hand legspinner turns his wrist both ways, one way for his stock ball and the other way the wrong'un; therefore easily picked by the batsmen So anyone other than Warne always cops a hiding, just as you would my friend, as soon as your little mate starts simply watching your wrist!
