  • excelent sound !

  • Hi!

Do you turn on the Axe-Fxs Cabinet Simulation when using it with the Tech 21 Powerengine or do you turn it off?

  • Cabinet simulation is on but the mic is off. I use the old 4x10 bassman simulation that came with I believe the pre-8.xx firmware. It seems to sound best with the power engine.

  • Thx for the answer.

I play the same setup as you, Axe-Fx into two power engines, and I am also using the bassman simulation with the mic turned off.

  • do you have any idea where i might find that old 4x10 bassman ir?

  • Despite some comments of noise or hum with the amp.. I hear is an excelent amp for modeling hardware... if any hum present I guess the Axe could manage it...

  • This is realy fantastig !!! Super choise to put this together and play the guitar til your fingers bleed.....

  • What seems are you talking about??

  • The Classic Vibe Strat body is made of three pieces. The seams are where the pieces join together.

  • I've stripped mine of the poly, and the body consists of 2 pieces of alder. Perfectly seamed in the middle.

  • can you compare it with standard squier, if you played one

  • Sorry for the delay in responding. Yes, I have played a standard Squier and to me the Classic Vibe is worth the extra money.

  • @okavipra - You should really spend the extra money and buy a used Mexican Strat - they're cheap (under $250 if you look) and can be slowly upgraded (POTs and Pickups) to make it compete with an expensive American Strat.

    Food for thought

  • @shady0brady my friend,i live in Serbia, and there is nothing ti want nore than 50s surf green mex. stratocaster , but do you know how much isit over here, 650 euro, thats like 900 dolars, i bet you can buy a decent usa stratocaster in america for that kind of money

  • @okavipra - Well that certainly changes things! I hope you have good luck on a cheaper guitar hunt. Keep looking for Mexicans though! You can always have one repainted - I guess it's just a matter of finding one at a good price. I'm sure you will find one one day =)

  • Did you compare the Tech 21 to the Atomic tube combos?

  • I have not compared the Tech 21 to an Atomic, sorry.

  • does the 60s strat have a 1 peice body?

  • It's a 3-piece, made in China.

  • can you see the three peices or does it have a veneer on it? thanks.

  • There's no veneer and the body is matched very well, however I still can faintly see the seams. Excellent guitar for the money.

  • thanks i just bought this guitar :)

  • those poser engine look handsome. I think it's the perfect gigging rig combined with something like a Digitech RP

  • For a second I thought it said Ramen Noodling.

  • Great stuff...sounded like a little "Paul Baloche" tunes in there:)

    Wes

  • Thanks and yes, that song has made the set for the past few Sundays.
