but japanese are EXTREMELY strict on drugs including weed. If they find it you will be shipped back to your country in a snap, i read about this somewhere

Actually not so hard. Just get in touch with the usual suspects - clubbers, musicians, surfers, etc. It's true that Japanese drug laws are very harsh if you get caught, but the police don't go out of their way to find drugs. As long as you aren't obvious and don't give the police any other reason to arrest you, you'll be fine.

The only people selling drugs of any sort in Japan are foreigners - mostly east europeans (sorry for the label). My Japanese girlfriend was astounded that there were drugs in japan until i told her. If you get caught you will be held/detained - then appear in court - and then sent home to your own country as what happened to a friend of mine. Drugs are a massive NO NO in Japan.
