  • question I understand lineArt now but how do you get the background completely white/ get rid of the picture you scanned after you were done tracing it over? Did you somehow get it to copy over to another layer? If so how you do that lol, Just a quick answer would be nice :D

  • @shinyshinx76 The scanned in picture is layer 1 ( Not background ). When scanning it becomes your background... Copy and paste it, and make your background layer white.

  • @Uarepoo2 Thanks so much :D I think I have this Photoshop thing down pat now :)

  • WOW....

    YOU ARE SO GOOD.

  • thanks this has really shown me how easy this can be :)

  • I have an alternate suggestion to color your lineart, finish your lineart layer in black and make another clipping mask layer above it I have used this technique for all of my pictures.

  • can you explain again how to color the lines?.... I tried clicking the 'Lock transparent pixels' (that's what I saw you click) but it wont color the lines. Pls help? By the way, I'm using PS7 and I don't use tablet either so you are kind of my mentor :-) I've seen all your videos too...

  • @chrno03 Well uhm... make sure your layer is set to normal and it isnt locked in any other way, all there is to it is make a line with the brush tool then lock the pixels and brush over it with a different color. And yay for non tablet'ers :D

  • @Uarepoo2 hahaha i agree! uarepoo yous should display your arts in DA!!! :) they are so cool man! :)

  • how you can do a perfect circle, i can understend
