ive been a commercial electrician for 12 years, i can bend conduit with my eyes closed, but ive never laid my hands on a PLC and have been dying to learn *something* about them. this series is amazing, and if i didnt live in phoenix, id definately take the boot camp.
if you just want to know "something" about PLCs, take a look at the "Links to PLC Resources" page on my website ... much of the material there is free ... if you really NEED to know a LOT, and need to learn it FAST, consider that I regularly get students from much further away than Phoenix ... my next scheduled class has a student registered from Spain ... just give me a call sometime ... friendly advice is free with NO sales pitch involved ... and thank you for your comment ...
This video demonstrates a unique but very important concept regarding how the XIC instruction should be understood or interpreted by the PLC user. The fundamental concept here is that the state (T/F) of the XIC instruction is determined by the state of the associated bit/box in the processor and nothing else. Very informative video.
so concise, clear & straight to the point; thumbs up!
