Yeah, I was basing this design off of one of the plushies that was made, that had a nose that's larger that some of the other versions. If you're looking for a smaller nose, making the adjustment shouldn't be at all difficult.

I will be making another video at some point about some colouring techniques, but for a quick and dirty pointer, I'd say start with a flat colour, decide on a directional light source, and shade with a darker and purpler colour than your flat colour was.

Yeah, I was basing this version moreso off of the stylized Banupresto plushie Mr. Saturn, whose design I rather like.

Still, the nose is "too big". :)

At any rate, at some point down the road, I'll be making some more Mr. Saturn drawing vids, and some of them will have more normal-sized noses, to appeal more to those fans on the more traditional design seen in the original plushie and the Super Smash Bros games model.

Created with OpenCanvas 1.1 and a trial version of Quick Screen Recorder. The drawing was made with the help of a Wacom Graphire tablet.

Yeah, I tend to model Mr. Saturn loosely around the Banupresto (sp?) plushie that was made, and give him a larger than normal nose. Even then though, it's way big. XD Ah well -- as I said in the info, people can feel free to change the nose size. :D

Nose size aside, the important part is that people have fun with it. Glad you enjoyed what you saw.

I generally use my Graphire 4 graphics tablet made by Wacom. It's more or less a plastic pad that you "draw" on with a stylus, making it more like pencil/pen and paper drawing.

With a little patience, you could do this with a mouse -- a friend of mine, for example, recently did a good Mr. Batty with his mouse. Drawing with a mouse DOES take some getting used to though.

Of course, if drawing with a pencil or pen works better for you, everything you see here can be done like that as well.

Since you're thinking about getting one, the kind you're most likely to find right now is the Wacom Bamboo.

The small ones (all you need, really, unless you do pro art stuff) can be found either in stores or on the net (internet's your best bet) and with a little looking around, you can usually find one for about $80 US.

please can you tell me wich model is great to draw with.I draw a lot mange like naruto and bleach but it has to be under $100.ill be glad if you can find one with model name^^

If you're looking for $100 or under, the best buy you're going to find is the Wacom Bamboo. Just for an example, taking a peek around, I found one for under $60, which is a STEAL.

(You MIGHT find a Wacom Graphire tablet around, but they're a bit older, and for some reason tend to be more expensive than the Wacom Bamboo.)

My advice: DO NOT get anything NOT made by Wacom. You might be lucky and get an okay one, but chances are just as good that you'll get a terrible one. Trust WACOM only.
