The tiebreaker for men's floor in Athens was between a Canadian and a Romanian but their story didn't flood the press. Shawn Johnson has the it package - she should have won all around title. The only apparatus where i feel gymnasts in the 90s did better was floor exersize. Lavina, Gina G and Dawes had much better floor routines overall, although Shawn's team final floor ranks up there

In gymnastics age does matter. As you get older you are more aware of whats around you and what's at stake. When you're younger you don't think about those things which makes your focus better, but as you get older it gets more difficult and you get psyched out and that's when mistakes occur. Alicia Sacramonte is the oldest member of the USA gymnastics team and at the end she made more mistakes than her younger teamates..
