no i came to see a type e under test i no there cheapo so i wanted to see wat they were puting out. when u post a vid of a test on a sub u fuckin do turn it up u spastic if u no subs u no where its sound limit is so u only turn it up as high as it will handle thats how u test them u faggot. any sub in the hole world will play a nice enough bass line quietly. thats not testing it. thats just turning the fucker on and sitting there.and i wasnt insulting any1 until u started talking shit.

Yeah, you're totally right. His point&shoot camera in video mode (or whatever camera is being used) totally has a mic capable of picking up 1500 watts of bass cleanly. Crank it, so my 20 dollar headset can show me EXACTLY what these subs sound and feel like.

Lower volume = you can hear actual notes, not BWAHEEEHHHHHHHHHHHHPPP BWAWHWHHHHEHHHHHHHPPKKKPPP.

Where on the description does say "Wattage handling capability test" or "volume benchmark" or something similar? Test doesn't mean pushing something to the breaking point, or an unlikely-to-ever-occur situation. It's a subwoofer, a 'budget' woofer, when you clicked the link to view this were you expecting to see windows blowing out? You obviously know all about subs, and that Type E is a lower end model, so you're here to be a dick and insult people?

good sub ;) it needs some space to get low hz... perfect . I have this in bandpass box and it sounds SPL cool ,how to say "nice to live :D" and it is too much for me and for my health.. type E is cool, because type R is more for SPL . so with two o more E types you can get a nice scene for music, but if you need more low bass, yes you need type R, but just not in bandpass :D with bandpass sometimes you need an attention..

why does my alpine e type 12 get really hot and smell real bad. i had to get rid of it! i took all my audio stuff out of my car and just had one of these subs and one amp a alpine v12, it was bridged. its the smallest amp in my setup on my site. i put one of my 12" kickers on the same amp in the same way and it was fine? these subs cant handle shit. i really wanted to downgade to just one sub but i couldnt belive it really how this sub i thought was good turned out to be totally shit.

@SaucyBegger25 All i have to say is that alpines are pretty picky and if you dont have them fully set up perfectly then they are shit. Plus type e's are terrible. Go with the Type r next time. And from what you told me it sounds like you put to much power threw the sub.

the reason the sub don't look like its getting enough power is because they are so tough to move, they really quite tight where as say a kicker sub will move quite freely. i have this sub and they are really nice sounding

Yep. These are had to get moving even if you are feeding 400 rms but these can move lot if you get em moving. btw i have 12" in reflex enclosure
