Like CPS they're supposed to protect kids but instead go after innocent parents or parents who have bee accused of doing something minor to their kids while ignoring real child abusers. The rumour that I once heard and didn't believe was that a blonde blue eyed child can fetch up to $50K in pedophilia rings!
You should NEVER let them into your home. You slam the door. Take your kid and run out the back door. Then you drive far away - preferably out of the country. I was told by a woman who used to work in a shelter that when dealing with CAS 'whatever you do don't fight them because, then, they'll try harder'. I know of one mother who was never given a reason why CAS hounded her except that her house was messy. As far as I know she never hit her kids, she never yelled, the only thing that saved her family was that she had a damn good psychiatrist who knew CASs tricks.

The worker interviewed the mother, once the worker found out that her exhusband was a lawyer and was still involved in the children's lives, the worker never returned.
