  • Köszönöm!!!!!!!!!!

  • So much to love here. The tunes, the personalities. The instruments!!! Wow! Two Steinbergers, Simmons electronic drums, Moog Taurus bass pedals, The Emulator. Classic intruments used to their full potential.

  • I LOVE this track :) I use it as my unofficial theme tune (even though I'm Italian/English, not Brazilian). I do a cover of this on my channel. :) Viva Genesis!

  • discontinue

  • carino, ma i genesis sono altra cosa

  • No one "dislikes' this. Very rare on Youtube to see that nowadays :)

  • saw them this tour at the dean dome

  • Best song ever. I bought the Invisible Touch tape just for this one..I could listen to it over and over!

  • My favorite Genesis album and one of my favorite tracks by them. Awesome song.

  • Lucky twats to see Genesis live....fukin awesome music n fuuuck music is sooo wank now...ffs Xfactor n fukin lmfao Tulisa da chav n all the other wankers..dayyyaaam :(

  • This song was what started my love in techno later in life. I always remembered this song, over and over beautiful. Then I heard Utah Saints, never stopped since!

  • In 1986 must have wore out the "Invisible Touch" cassette listening to this over and over. Bring back synthesized 80's music as long as it catchy. This always had a Miami Vice-ish feel to it.

  • Probably my favourite track from the album, and one of my overall Genesis faves.

I wish I'd been to one of these shows. I actually bought a ticket to see the Invisible Touch tour in Germany (I lived there at the time) but due to circumstances the day of the show I wasn't able to go. I still have the unused ticket.

  • Anyone know the make and model headless bass Daryl Sturmer is playing here?

  • @baceace Steinberger model

  • @megajelly100

Correct, an L-Series model to be precise. I remember how big (no pun intended) those were in the 1980s. I never liked them that much, as I though that they sounded a little sterile and if my left hand got all the way down to the end of the neck it was like falling off a cliff. But there's no doubt that they were good, high-quality instruments.

Interesting to see Daryl playing bass too.

  • @elveggoloco It is known that Daryl is one of the best guitarists on earth:) He is the guitarist and bass solo

  • does chester have drum triggers on his toms?

  • @beng1lh00ly yes

  • one word wicked

  • Mike plays a wicked solo at the end, why the f**k are these guys not doing more music?

  • It's so beautiful

  • First heard this on when the wind blows

  • Even after selling out, simplifying their music to the level of moronically unchallenging, and releasing a series of albums where each one was worse than the last, these guys could STILL write and play an amazing instrumental or two.

  • Do you need any other reason to learn how to play the drums?

  • @Truey1986 Too true! The way the both play off of one another as well is truly AWESOME!

  • awesome almost closer to perfection!

  • There is only one word to describe it: AWESOME!!!! Good work, guys! Excellent!! One of the most powerful progressive rock bands of the 20th Century!!!

  • LASERDISC

  • the quality is a bit off but this is awesome that you so much for putting this up!!!

  • My favourite!!! :)

  • This theme grew on me more and more over the years.

Always the same with high quality music.

  • @richiebear1969 I have a cover version of this on my channel, using this very live version :) (this song is my unofficial theme tune)

  • Sounds better live than on the album! :)

  • Phil's smile at Chester at during the finale says it all!

  • I am tying to think of something I can compare this to.

  • yeah thats tough...don't think ya really can. One song that comes to mind, in minor similarities, is Rush's Where's my Thing. Only in that the faster stuccato verses are resolved with the etheral, atmospheric chorus.

    Either way a KILLER song!

  • BY THE WAy, THANKS FOR THE POST PhilGenesisDB!!!

  • a-mazing

  • I've always loved that giant "swoosh" sound that Phil gets off the huge china cymbal. It's such a key element to the unique sound and feel of this song.

  • Let me guess: Tony Banks wrote this, didn't he? :)

  • wow what a tune...genesis till i die

  • I love Genesis too. Does anyone know who sang on Supper's Ready - Live @ Nasa? Was it Fish? Is there a video of it anywhere?
