Likely though, he was more concerned with the safety of those around you, since you hadn't fired one before, than he was on where your head was in relation to the scope. :)

Not bad Mike....perhaps a bit more snug into your shoulder and you could reduce that inch or two kick down....and just keep the eye an inch or two away from the sight, and still not have it punch your eye socket; takes practice to figure out exactly what you are going to do; looks like you did just "squeeze"...and of course you hit the target...that's really what counts.
Wow why did no one tell him he was to close to the scope... they all need a good shooting lesson. NRA all the way!
